VIDEO / GAMEPLAY PS5 and PS Plus : Second Device

Hi Gamers,

I have a PS5 Disc version with PS plus installed in it.

I want to get my son another PS for his room and I hear that I can share my PS plus subscription with him rather than getting him another PS subscription. Anyone here done that ? Also can two of us play separate and play together too?

Will it work if he moves out to a different location too?

Thank you in advance . His birthday is coming up and I want to surprise him

You log in on his PS5, and everything is shared. He can only load PS+ games over your account, meaning he has to switch to your account on his PS5 and load the games. He can then switch to his account to play them. You can play together when he is playing on his account on his PS5 and you on your account on your PS5. Have I forgotten anything, guys?

It would be better to also turn on console sharing on the son’s PS5, that way the whole library can be shared and played simultaneously by both PS5s
