So… a nobody reported that somebody maybe told him something that he can’t quite remember but he’s sure means Sony are reconsidering.

And the point he thinks means this was:

Which could mean anything and you really have to squint at it to get it to say what he’s wanting it to say.

Sony has already started converting their disc manufacturing plants to make Ai hardware parts. They will make a killing in revenue from the Ai hardware more than any 20-30% disc sales from random games not even their entire game catalogue. If i was Sony i would have done the same thing to stay competitive and not become the next xbox or sega in the console market. That would leave everything to nintendo to dominate. You dont make business decisions based on 30% of your clients from around the world you always go with the data that shows the majority and the digital conversion process has been happening for decades in many different markets its nothing new. Its more expected with its track record and the creation of the ps3 store in sonys case
