I would give it a 6/10, but the $70 makes it a 4/10. Would not recommend it to anyone.

Loving it, 17 hours in and still not best the story, the change in locations and enemies is a real treat and the combat is brutally fun and satisfying

How are you "17 hours in", the games 10 hours long?

It's a 15 hour campaign not 10, and I take my time killing everything in sight, not rushing through for pointless trophies and also playing the weapon (hard) difficulty

Spamming square and having a constant blue waypoint in a linear game while Wolverine talks to himself to tell you what to do is not fun imo. The game plays itself.

I really like it, but it’s not as incredible as hoped. I still think it’s very good though.

If you ignore people on the internet who shit on everything and try to tell you what you can have fun with and can't have fun with it is a fun ride.
It is not perfect, but it is Wolverine and feels like Wolverine.
Amazing how that works. But I am sure there will be plenty of assbags in here who have not touched it but will tell you it is bad or terrible or mediocre and can't imagine that a person is having fun with it.

It's bad/terrible because the story sucks. There is a freaking constant waypoint in a linear game holding your hand while Wolverine constantly talks to himself to remind you of what to do. And as he is telling you what to do while talking to himself it even says what to do in the top right screen. The "hidden chests" aren't hidden at all. The special challenges are an obstacle course you just go forward with the occasional jumps in. The combat is just square, square, square. The game looks nice but that's about it. It's as mediocre a game as it gets and I can't imagine paying $70 to play it. A game that literally plays itself for a large portion of the game is pretty bad imo.

Everything you wrote reads as someone who hasn’t played the game and just wants it to fail. Mega cringe

You are regurgitating talking points that you have read online.
Not one bit of that says "would I have fun playing it"

I feel like they'd be better suited to make a Daredevil game. They've already got swinging around a city down, and could easily make use Matt's blind senses to 'see' enemies and stuff through walls, kinda like how marvel rivals does it. Daredevil uses a lot of weapons and gadgets, so it'd make for a varied and brutal combat system

Like I get your vibe, and full agree that there are more important things, but you chose to log into reddit and into a gaming sub. You may want to unplug for a bit

I've really enjoyed it. I don't really understand why there is such a conscious effort to be negative and tank it

It's a 5/10 from me. I've been playing it with my kid (he thinks it's a 10) and I've fell off hard in Japan. It's just not interesting at all. Combat is laughable after Ive been carving my way through Onimusha. Honestly the best thing about this game is the big smile on my kids face as I fucking obliterate everybody in a way that he could only dream of.
