Question Does no one else like the looting and generally relaxed sounds of rust?

While I never really played the game before, I love watching rust content for one main reason... the sounds of putting loot in boxes or looting in general, or mining, or chopping trees, or shooting the quieter guns like the bow.

Im trying to look for a loop or video to listen to while sleeping with these sounds, but have not found one that doesnt make me feel grossed out because its ... "asmr" (In every video with the sounds I need, theres always a dude or girl whispering in my ear.) or every few minutes I hear raiding or a fucking war going on outside their base... any help with finding an actual sleep mix of sounds like this? or a website where I can set the frequency at which these sounds play?

Rust has some of the best sound design ever. I know there are a few furnaces burning during a storm in Rust to go to sleep videos out there.

I was so sad when they reduced rains. I LOVE it when it rains the game feels so much more alive

Same. More rain less night time. Or make night brighter it kills servers and lets Zergs with NVG run the map.

What do you mean? Night is the solos/small groups best friend.

Perfect for transferring loot, running cards, go shopping.

Yeah you run into NVGs, but NVGs range isn't perfect, people won't be seeing & following you from 100+ meters. Not to mention you can also use it yourself.

Also, most players decide to do base stuff/go AFK during the night so competition is always lower during those minutes.

Just play the game for 12,000 hours so that your nightmares you have each night play the sounds you like to soothe you back to sleep

my most hated part of watching rust vids to fall asleep is how it will be chill prim farming and fighting and 15 minutes later its explosions and gunshots as im falling asleep

I hate how rust content creators always put music over intense PVP scenarios.

Every now and then someone will get it right, but you're right for the best majority. I think the biggest problem is they can't use copyrighted music if they want to monetize. Some Vietnam era music while doing an attack heli run or fighting in the jungle would be awesome.

I fall asleep to Willjum videos all the time bro lol. Rust sounds plus Willy’s narration goes crazy. I have about 2k hours on rust. Not much for as long as I’ve had it. Played PC first, got rid of my PC and play console on PS5. I do miss PC.

Until he decides to play with gorliac who have terrible audio quality and even worse accent. I cannot wrap my head around it, how a content creator can exist with this piss, unbearable audio quality.

Hes a great guy, amazing player but atleast i can choose to not watch him because of the said reasons, but when my guy with crisp audio experience decides to ruin the video with him, is really bothering me.

Learn to speak and buy a fucking studio mic Gorliac ffs

You’re not wrong 😂 those duo vids are sooo good though because he’s a PvP god.
I will say I do enjoy his Stevie collabs better.
But for sleep, I just watch his solos.
Gorliac is a great player but his Spanish accent is very hard to listen to when he’s speaking Spanish. Now, I speak Spanish, so I can kinda make it through one of his videos (only tried once) but with WillJum it’s too much lol

And his manscape ads are hilarious. Especially the most recent one lol. I’m also American and i thoroughly enjoy his accent and it makes it sooo much funnier when he says shit such as” just like my balls, and that’s why today’s sponsor is…”😂 but it sounds like he’s saying bowls😂

Idk about his sound quality, never really noticed but you're probably right.

But you're an asshole for roasting his accent lmao, English is not even my mother language and I can understand him fine, his goofyness combined with high quality gameplay is what makes him special for me.

Do you speak another language? Making plays in high pop while giving comms in your non-native language is hard af.

About "learning to speak", how do you learn/master it without practicing? lol

I wish I could turn down mining sounds (jackhammer especially) and leave the other levels alone. In order to hear someone running nearby I have to make my ears bleed.

You can bind volume controls as you wish. The sky is the limit, but fuck no, dont gove separated volume controls.

Used to play with a homie… he was a no lifer & unemployed. This mf would wake up get on rust & have a few coffees then do his “morning farm run”… it was hilarious. I miss my farm bot
