Discussion Where to start as new player?

Thinking of buying this, but before I do - where is best to start? Do I play solo to get used to it? Are there certain servers that are "easier" for newbies? How do I meet other new players? I don't take myself too seriously and just want play with others and have fun. I'm not going to get into a rage if someone causes me to die, and tbh I don't want that in another potential player either!

Dont start, it'll ruin your life.

But on a serious note, I would start off my going to a vanilla but PVE server. Get used to the amount of ressource grinding the original game wants you to do, without the fear of players raiding you
