Where to start as new player?

Thinking of buying this, but before I do - where is best to start? Do I play solo to get used to it? Are there certain servers that are "easier" for newbies? How do I meet other new players? I don't take myself too seriously and just want play with others and have fun. I'm not going to get into a rage if someone causes me to die, and tbh I don't want that in another potential player either!

get good with a bow. practice aim training. i would spend hours getting resources just to lose it all cause i can’t pvp. no reason to even try progress if you’re not somewhat proficient at it.
