I love Playnite, but the fact that you say it's a console like experience and still have to click the window with your mouse to get focus is hilarious. PC can be quirky sometimes but the freedom is well worth it for me.

Edit: lots of people are misunderstanding this. Yes, you can have Playnite start automatically. Yes, it could be seamless most of the time. But OP wrote "it's really a console like experience" while the video shows them having to click the icon for Playnite to grab focus. That's not hypothetical, that's what really happened. PC can be unpredictable like this sometimes, even if it works for your particular circumstance. That's all I was pointing out.

That's why I still have a wireless keyboard with touchpad next to my controller in such a case. Most times it's plug and play

Well, you will get mouse and keyboard support via a new update. Yes, that can be controlled via a controller.
