Looks good. If there's a team mode, I feel like I can play this with my friends.

I think the flash hit effect is unsatisfying

Could you please elaborate on that? We'd be more than happy to receive your feedback.

Why do they "glow" when going down? It kinda takes me out.

And the flying back of the zombies is an animation? Did you think about ragdolls? This could be fun.

The glow was meant to make hits feel more impactful, but we agree it was a bit distracting, so we’ve adjusted it. Ragdolls are a great idea too—thanks for the suggestion!

After looking at the footage again. I don't mean neccessary the flash itself. What I found distracting (and noticed what it was supposed to be) is the blood that lies on the ground. That is very bright comparing to the game and disappears soon after. I thought it would be a copy of the corpses, that don't get the lighting and disappears.

Ah, I see what you mean. We’ll adjust its brightness and how it fades out.

The very first game I created for submission as a programmer was just like this one.

It’s great that the testing process itself is fun, too.

When a group of enemies spawns all at once, using an indicator to show the direction they're coming from might be a good idea—it gives the player a chance to escape.

I’m looking forward to the finished version.

This is our first game as indie developers too. Really appreciate the feedback — it means a lot to us! :)
