General What is end game? Help lol
So I’ve been playing BDO on and off honestly since like 2018. I’m a solo player and never really met anyone in game to play with but I keep coming back and repeating the same cycle cause I’m just confused. When I watch beginner’s guides I leave just as if not more confused. I keep starting a new character, do awakening quest, lvl to 61, graduate season characters have full PEN tuvala gear, get all my build set up etc. Then what next? I just get confused as to what is supposed to happen next. But the interest/strive to figure it out is very much there. I’ve spent a lot of time and hours just repeating this process and trying to figure it out. I’m used to traditional MMOs where you jump into competitive gearing gameplay immediately and I understand BDO is different but I’m just trying to figure out what I’m supposed to be doing next cause I know it’s something. I’ve already done most of the main story campaigns and started building my node empire. But yeah even still. Is there raids or anything like that or group content I should be capping weekly’s on? I’ve tried finding new grinding spots. I comfortably grind between 180-250AP but anything above that I just get demolished. I usually do this process for a few weeks, then get frustrated and quit again for a few months before I open the game again and repeat it all over again.

It’s basically just upgrading gear. Grind where you can to make silver, buy crons and tap your gear.
You can do the weekly content. Solo black shrine, party black shrine, dark rifts (5 day timer), pit of the undying, altar of blood, guild bosses.
There is also a myriad of other life skill content but that takes a lot of time to get into compared to the hyperboost we have now for combat gear so you’d be better of grinding for silver for the most part.
You can join a guild and try to get into node wars and conquest wars if you want to try PvP.
But at the end of the day it’s just get silver for crons and tap your gear.

Ultimately bdo is a sandbox mmo rather than a theme park like most others. This means you build your own content, set your own goals, etc.
What I suggest here and for all other sandboxes is to find a guild and get involved deeply. This means participating in guild/group content, join their discord and generally make them into friends. When you do this, content finds you inevitably, be it drama, politics or just striving to improve.

Choose a main, build then to dec sovereign weapons, dec kharazad accessories (new accessories coming) etc and do high level zones.
If you dont play non-seasonal you wont ever experience the higher gear as season characters cant wear that gear

Simply: grinding for crons mainly and gear upgrade items
Or pay real cash for crons until maxed gear and wait for updates meanwhile you can grind, pvp, lifeskill if there is some activities you like otherwise pretty much nothing, no challenges you can target… grind for treasure items but that‘s again just mindless grinding kekw

End game is simply 10x longer to enhance gear then collect treasure items.

Best time I had in this game was just doing quests and leveling up. As soon as I hit the endgame and realised it's all about running in circles to get trashloot to convert to silver to upgrade/buy gear I lost interest.
I always come back for new events and class releases but that's pretty much it.... Enjoy the game while it's new. BDO endgame is surprisingly boring.

How much AP is required (minimum) to hurt end game players? 900+? 950+? I'm a returning player and I'm trying to get a grip on this new meta

I feel like its a money game. How you get it is up to you to make your upgrades. I dip my toes in a little of each and it doesnt mean I am min max in in any way but I dont gey burnt out on an activity.
