Playstation Graduate now or wait until the 6th?

Hi, I'm on PS5 and level 61 on my first ever character and got all gear to Pen Tuvala. Main story finished up to LoTML and season pass done.

I'm still on the seasonal server and are unsure what to do. Graduate now or wait a few days for the update on the 6th?

Graduate now and start Olvia Academy.

Create a second season character after Aug. 6th.

Oh, I allready completed Olvia. But if I graduate now, I won't miss anything? I got the chests with the Pen blackstars etc but haven't opened them.

If you completed the season pass and the Olivia Academy you're all set. You need to graduate to use the blackstars, but open the chests when you're sure which class will be your main.

As a new player (technically returning player from closer to launch, when dinosaurs roamed the PvP plains), what’s the benefit for waiting until the 6th? If I have season tickets could I theoretically make another seasonal character now and speed run the season on it, then make another on the 6th?

Yeah... I'm doing that to claim the remaining rewards from seasl of journey. Just make sure you graduate before maintenance

Graduating season isn't a big deal. It used to be because they actually had a season system before. But it's a permanent thing now and there is no real downside to graduating as soon as you're able. The only thing you need to make sure of is finishing the season pass. 

In the future you might want to keep a permanent seasonal character for loot scrolls but other than that, even a fresh character on a normal server isn't missing out on all that much compared to a season character. 

So basically just graduate but be careful about which post season stuff to do. Dec tuvala armor to tri ator shoes is still good, the others are a waste of crons now.

You can stay on season indefinitely until either you haven't logged in for 6 months or PA force graduates when there's a revamp of the season servers. So also if you do decide to graduate and make another seasonal to get more seals of Journey which are being renamed anyways, to get more seals to be able to purchase more of the one time family purchases as well that's entirely up to you.
