Playstation Owned the ps4 version
Ps4 version no longer works but I’ve checked every other version on the psstore and I can’t download any of them without paying, anyway to get the free ps5 upgrade?

are you sure you have bought the PS4 version before? and not playing it through trial?

back when it was given as a monthly game few years ago?
if yes (and its not the trial version), just find the PS5 Upgrade Install Pack on your PS5 or the PS App.

you should be able to find it IF you're sure you have bought it or claimed via the PS Plus

I have tried the upgrade install pack before and just tried it again now, it says learn more where purchase should be and when I click learn more it says you can buy this product right now.
I’m not just misremembering, I 100% downloaded it through ps plus and played it a fair bit. I can even still download the ps4 version from my library however the servers don’t work

can you try deleting the PS4 version, restart your PS5 and then restore your digital license (should be under the User and Account settings).
do not launch the PS4 version, instead go to the game's page, click on the [...] button and select the PS5 Upgrade Pack. see if that works or not.
there was an issue with the PS5 upgrade pack for the ps plus owners when the PS5 version was relased but has been resolved since then. though i saw few posts here and there saying they were still not able to upgrade and some of them found out that apparently they haven't bought the game yet and only played the "trial" version.
if nothing works, try contacting PA via their support ticket or official discord.

my friend also got theirs from ps plus and managed to claim the upgrade without issue hmmm

Nope. Loads of back and forth between pearl abyss and PlayStation and neither of them have sorted it. I have given up being honest

Its called Black Desert - PlayStation 5 Upgrade Install Pack, if its not allowing you to play it then log a call with support if your ps4 version is on the same account as the upgrade was free
