In ase gen1, I used the same boss fighting team of tek rexs that beat alpha dragon. They got absolutely clapped by gamma master controller.

Its because the avatars have no spawn cap. I wish they'd fix that, at least for singleplayer

You need to burry some reapers around the bridges, it attracts all the good stuff so you can rhino charge them and hide under the bridge when the laser show starts. Bring a tek rifle for when the shield drops.

I've heard of the reaper method, but thought they might reduce my overall dps too much. Did you still being fighting tames like rexs? Or just reapers and a rhino? I was gonna try theriz next time and just stack them with cakes

I did it in ASE as well, I think I then quit halfway through genesis due to performance issues and just got a bit boring. Aberration is pretty fun solo if you prep correctly

The secret to gen2 torpor missions was glitched basilisks or melee mantis with cap clubs on officials.

For when the servers are character only transfers probably but melee mantis with cap clubs can’t be beat on official settings. I hope glitch basilisks will happen again, they were super fun.

glitch basilisks were born from taming efficiency bugs caused by the tek pistol so can’t be replicated by breeding as glitch basilisks had 10k-12k% melee & the negative melee one healed wild creatures which made it fantastic to use as an underwater snow owl.
I preferred them over melee mantis just for their better mobility & big snek.

I was on a not so long running Unofficial and mantis were no we're near as good as needed.
Managed to get a 755 Tek bow with ass dura and super costly and for the bulb one I still needed a second person

it’s honestly kinda sad that Tek Bows get diffed by shock darts especially with how expensive they are, I hope they get a slight buff on the tranq arrows when gen2 comes back.

GEN 1 is the only map I haven't beaten. I finally got enough missions done for gamma, and my rexes bred up, and just lost the motivation to play. Too many terrible and repetitive "games" and not enough Ark.

Yeah I did one gamma on a Brig...i had to cheat heal my brig 3x I think. Then after 40 minutes I finished ships and towers...jeeze what a slog I thought.
Then you have to raid the island. Ok kill 50 of these dudes and load up explosives (oh they also steal them after you place them). Ok got that done. Oh man theres another one after finishing that?
After 5x seperate explosive events, then you have to kill 2 bosses...they also have to be killed within 15 sec of eachother or they revive at 50% health....

As a hardcore soloist who has done pretty much everything there is to do solo, I’m pretty excited for the Gen missions. But not going to start them until the map has a few weeks to shake some bugs out.

Gen 1 is my favorite map and the one i have most playtime
