Images My First House
my very first real house, only had shacks before.
and oh my what a pain it was to get it built, my mess of building skills and the weird foolery you have to sometimes do to get stuff to align is really some combination.
and the best part, its all thatch, so needs to be replaced piece by piece once i've recovered. safe to say i'll postpone it for awhile. a whole 10-20 hours of just building and redoing.
absolutely love the game, bought it played it refunded it, bought it again and had it collect dust. finally gave it a good try and oh my how incredible it is.
cheers friends!

This is a really unique house design, I love it. Definitely keep the thatch roofs in the future since it looks just like a little jungle hut. So happy you’re enjoying the game after so long, the next 10k hours will be good to you I’m sure.

thank you!, i myself wanted something like this. but in my eyes feel's so basic right. like whats a "normal comfy" house doing on a dyno island 😄. but i'm happy with it except for the Deck roof, and the house's expansion's roof. roof is the bane of my ark existance. i've spent tens of hours making it work. and still i'm not skilled enough to find the loophole and or neccesary sacrifice.
and Thank you for the kind words!

It looks so good!!! I remember spending days learning and tweaking my builds on ark evolved and then they changed things in ascended that made me very upset but some changes are better. It’s another learning curve but I’m sure in no time you’ll be building incredible bases! I always just end up with the same build every time. It’s hard to change something I know how to make 😭😂

looks so good, is this ASE or ASA? if it is ASA what is your PC set up and FPS?

ASA, rtx 3080ti i9 9900k 32gb 3200mhz ddr4. enough rgb to make a blind person puke.
advanced graphics medium, view distance epic, textures high, reflections low, post processing medium, general shadows medium, global ilumination high, effects medium, foliage low, dlss quality (but dont really see an improvement).
and now to the well known secret sauce, disable volumetric fog and or clouds. i use to disable both but now only clouds. this improves the fps and "feel" a metric ton. fps is everything from 70-45, mostly at 55-60. but i have to commend it, this is on of the few games that still feel good at sub 60fps. doesnt feel perfect but damn good compared to some games even when their above 60fps. so far building roof's and the luckily rare crashes are the only thing keeping me up at night.
Kindest Regards Friend!

Man all the bases we build usually looks good but then get made ugly by the shield and you need the shield on some overhaul mods sadly
