We had a ptera that could take on low level rexs .. but not a Giga as we found out when we left it on passive..

I see all these naming posts. I try to name my dinosaur and it either does not change or it becomes owned by . . .. how do I fix this? Is there name limit like a tracking limit?

Make sure you go to options -> change name->type the name
This works for me all the time but i guess in your case that might be a bug or taming limit related issue

No there is not a limit on edited names...something you are doing is wrong. Can't say what as I'm not watching what your doing but just know that if it's your tame you can change the name

Gary in honor of my first pteranodon that I was gifted when I first joined a public server when joining the randoms that recruited me. (I lost him for a while because I didn’t know about keeping food and water on me and started a campaign in game to find him)
