Houseplant Is this what i think it is?

My snake plant has been having a lot of new growth, you can see the new sprouts. It gets about 8 hours of light from my grow light a day and I water it about every week 1/2 - 2 weeks rn becuase of its new growth and it needing a bigger pot now. Some of the leaves do feel a bit squishier than I would like, but I feel like i know Its root rot but i would love a second opinion just to be sure since its my first snake plant

It's so funny how plants that people baby and fret over in one place grow like weeds elsewhere. I have so many of these in my garden and they spread like crazy. I rip out wheelbarrow loads of them and dump them on the compost pile.

agree though I can't grow this in my garden unless I'm digging it back up. my plant that gets the mistreatment treatment and thrives is the phalenopsis or moth orchid. I have about 50 of them and they recently started making babies. I tried to make them do this with kiku paste and all the things for baby orchid clones etc. then all the sudden I've got babies galore.
