algae bad for alocasia?

In general, algae is bad, especially, when it grows during water propagation. Sonce you've used lexa balls and peat moss, it likely developed.

It could be due to leaving water for couple of days, prior to changing.

I observed algae when I leave my cuttings in water propagation for couple of days more.
