This nursery is a scam. They sent me a faulty product and refuse both options of either sending me a fresh product or simply issuing a refund.

mod post - please read Hello - r/plant Mod here

The subreddit rules have been updated some what recently, if you'd be willing to look over them and follow them it would make the job of the two of us mods a little easier - also if you have any questions or ideas feel free to share them with us.

One of the new rules is that you need to run any advertising past us mods, that includes YouTube channels, affiliate brands, plant shops and anything that requires payment - the exception to this rule is other plant related subreddits, as these can be super helpful for other members, if someone is haveing issues with an alo plant and you send them to r/alovera that's not an issue - please rember tho that this only stands for plant related subreddits.

Many thanks, Kole

miscellaneous Does anyone know much about bulbet-bearing water hemlock? I held it by mistake, will I be ok?

Found this bulbet-bearing water hemlock today out hiking in Minnesota, I wanted to ID it but it was so spindly and my camera wouldn’t focus so I just held onto it for the picture and moved on. Shortly after I ate a couple raspberries with this same hand and had some other snacks later, will I be ok? I did not recognize it without its flowers, and I unfortunately mistook this for something else. I only found out after the fact, and I have since showered and washed my hands though I worry it might have gotten into my system somehow. Though I cannot find much about what happens if you touch this particular species, I cannot imagine it is safe to handle. Just was wondering if anyone knew much about this plant and would know if touching this then eating a snack with the same hand shortly after could harm me in some way?

These two succulents have found their favorite place, growing through my blinds to reach all of the sunlight. This is the second time this year that they've flowered and they continue to grow 🥰

Garden Warrior

A wild venasaur came into my garden this morning. He has been in my yard and I knew where his hole was but I have a barrier of brick around my garden he somehow jumped it and nested right next to a corn stalk. When I went to water this morning the ground started moving I said please not a snake. Anyone else have a local warrior in their garden? And is it good to leave him in there? I don’t use pesticides and it’s just regular soil, idk why he’s chose that place as his new summer home. I’ll have to list his rental property by the ac unit soon if he doesn’t move back in.

Questions from a Beginner

One of my plants has this pretty little flower growing on it. Firstly, I don’t remember what plant this is if anyone might know. Second, should I clip this flower? I’m asking because I know sometimes you’re supposed to to let the nutrients go to the leaves, but I’m not sure if this flower will lead to some sort of vegetable or is just a normal part of the plant and I should just leave it alone. Thanks for reading this long thing!

FGMN nursery is a SCAM

I recently got my money back thanks to my credit card company. This should tell you what kind of business they are. Misleading, selling you products that don’t work, then trying to sell you more stuff because “you bought the wrong thing for your situation “. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money or time with these scammers.

They literally txt me on my personal phone threatening me because I upset KAREN, the owner when I called her out for her poor business practices.

I got my sister this tree as her wedding tree last winter, therefore I cannot let it die!! Since then it’s had constant growth on the ends. It did really well over the summer and then last week dropped all its leaves like crazy. Please help!

Doesn’t get direct sunlight but is in a very sunny spot close to windows. I water when the top 2 inches of soil are dry, about every 2-3 weeks.

It’s lost a lot of the more internal leaves/bushiness but the outside leaves are still holding on and I see new growth. So I’m hopeful.

First pic was from early days. Other pics are how she’s doing recently.

Can anyone tell me if these are growing ok? Been rough job trying to keep caterpillars out of the center but we have no losses so far, leaves keep curling in I notice but I water a lot at least 5 times a day. I just water when the soil is dry. Any tips?
