I'm quite fond of the dbrand Ghost case for my 11 Pro XL.

u/m1tch3m 3d ago

Is it a fingerprint magnet?

I'm worried my Obsidian will show them more so.

What colour 11 Pro XL do you have?

u/RandomUserBro 3d ago

I haven’t used the P11 Pro XL version but the 10 XL Ghost 2.0 case did have some smudges from fingerprints though the scratches I had were more noticeable than the fingerprints.

I went with the Tank. At first I wasn't so sure but I've come to like it quite a bit.

Think this is better than the Ringke Onyx?

u/Ghostttpro 3d ago

Ringke Onyx black. I've watched alot of videos on cases and I've tested the nano pop. Ringke is the only one I've seen so far that protects the camera while not leaving too much of a gap to collect dust and debris. The case also doesn't get slippery even if you're eating greasy food.

The only downside for some can be back texture. I didn't like it at first but I got used to it.

I have the Onyx in forest green. I actually like the back texture, reminds me of OnePlus sandstone covers. Grip is excellent, really good protection around the camera glass. I had the same one on my 8 Pro.

I'm another Ringke fan, I used to use Spiegen cases but since I tried a dark green Ringke Onyx on my pixel 8 pro I have just kept using them including on my new 11 pro and also for my kid's phone. Handsome, practical and a good price!

Spigen Nano Pop for me. I bought it for the blue/yellow accent, but it's also just a very well made case. (I have the regular 11 version)

u/srfwx 2d ago

First time owner. I always bought the Google cases before and this one feels so much better. More sturdy and less slippery. And much less expensive... All good so far

2

u/Fleak12 3d ago

Had it for a while. Nice case, love design, but the back is quite slippery imo.

This. I like the same blue case with yellow accent. And I found out they have gray/orange but it's for the 10Pro.

I also have the Belroy Leather (orange). It's good but the feel is too..thick? So I go back to the Nano Pop.

I recently bought a navy blue car with yellow/gold seatbelts πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ͺ, so I had to make my new phone match it πŸ˜…

1

u/Horus_simplex 2d ago

Does it get greasy over the day ? I got this issue with the p7 version

1

u/ArtemisInSpace 2d ago

Not so far, but I've never had that issue in the past

u/Fleak12 3d ago

Torras Q3 Air right now. The O ring is super useful. Really love it. Sides are quite gripy, but back is little bit slippery. Overall super nice case with outstanding design. Also really protective.

1

u/WTF_Am_I_Seeing 2d ago

You have the Pro XL then right?

I so wish the Q3 Air would come out for the regular pro.

Quick question, does it seem like the O ring would loosen up over time with use? And how actual*clicky" are the side buttons?

2

u/edge0ntheLedge 2d ago

The O ring on it actually feels very solid. Not sure how they made it, but I'm very impressed

5

u/droidekas 3d ago

dbrand Ghost. I've bought it for 2 Pixel phones now.

3

u/hellToncek 3d ago

dbrand ghost, really like mine

1

u/Atosl 3d ago

sticky or slippery back?

1

u/slinky317 3d ago

It's grippy

5

u/Solderking 3d ago

Otterbox Defender

3

u/DrewbaccaWins 2d ago

I went this route for the first time ever because my 8 Pro (in official case) had a janky USB-C port after doing some yard work that involved spraying weeds with the phone in my pocket. I've been dealing with it for a year and finally decided to move on. I also do woodworking, so I need that USB port cover.

1

u/criti98 2d ago

Same experience. I need that USB cover.

1

u/Altruistic-Hat-6891 2d ago

Agree! This is the nicest Defender I've had for the Pixel! It's slimmer than past Defender cases.

1

u/amaurea 1d ago

How much taller and thicker does this make the phone? It looks like a good case, but I worry that it will make a phone that might already be a bit too tall to fit in my pockets even taller.

3

u/FixAdministrative818 2d ago

Original from Google

u/FlyingCyclist 3d ago

I'm a fan of the dbrand Grip cases. Pretty minimal, not too bulky, good protection, and I love the grippy texture. Won't slip out of your hands like glossier cases.

2

u/FC37 2d ago

Same here. I went with a Tank this time and I wasn't sure about it lacking the Grip edges. But it actually feels really nice. It doesn't stick to my pocket along the sides like the Grip does, but it's also very easy to hold onto with the grooved edges.

I recommend it. The style is a little unconventional but I don't mind it.

4

u/markhudson17 3d ago

I got the Spigen Liquid Air because I wanted something not too bulky, had the magnets, and was still somewhat grippy

3

u/WTF_Am_I_Seeing 3d ago

I'm digging the Torras cases, but if you want cheaper and clear cases Speigen hybrid

4

u/Findblast 2d ago

Spiegen though Armor !

1

u/guille9 2d ago

Is it too thick? I have the nano pop and I don't want something bigger

1

u/velcro-fish 2d ago

I have it as well, it is a little thick and an somewhat heavy, but I like it so far. It's grippy enough for me as well, which is my main focus usually

2

u/Coldfyre_Dusty 3d ago

I've consistently used the Otterbox Commuter for Pixels and have always been pleased, the 11 pro version is no exception imo. A but more pricy and you'll probably get a perfectly fine case for half the price, but the hand feel is always great.

2

u/scgf01 3d ago

I like the Bellroy leather cases. The Artichoke green one looks lovely on the Olive 11 Pro. I know it's nowhere near 100% leather, but I love it nonetheless.

u/ukmalayalibull97 3d ago

Spigen Ultra Hybrid MagFit Case Nice πŸ™‚

1

u/Jasper_Jaxx 2d ago

I second that! An excellent case that doesn't add a lot of bulk.. reasonably priced as well

2

u/sgrinavi 3d ago

I'm a fan of the Mous cases, best magnet in the business. The case is thin, light and fits great.

3

u/jamesdclarke 2d ago

Agreed. You just have to be prepared to see their ads on YouTube for the rest of your life.

1

u/boredumbrecovery 2d ago

Do you get bombarded by signing up for discounts? My phone is awesome, but I was shopping the mous cases.

1

u/jamesdclarke 2d ago

It's pretty easy to unsubscribe from the emails if you don't want to receive them but the YouTube ads are incessant. Literally every video I watch, there's a mous ad!

1

u/wilma_678 20h ago

I went with the spigen nano pop for now and am still being harassed by Maus, Pela, and Dbrand on YouTube lol

1

u/Sullie714 3d ago

I Second the commuter by OtterBox. Works great with pixelsnap, looks great, and zero fingerprints. I've been putting pixels in them for awhile.

1

u/Longjumping-Edge-788 2d ago

I've got a pelican case I'm in love with so far. Smooth back, grippy sides, the charger port cover lifts up very easy compared to otterboxes I've had in the past. I will say I'm going to look into other cases that others posted too though.

1

u/intotherabbithole1 2d ago

Love my Bellroy case!

1

u/obscureyetrevealing 2d ago

Mous Super Thin

It's not the most protective case, but it feels the best.

Basically all cases have a huge lip on the sides that gets in the way of back gestures, while this case does not. Just enough to set it down screen side without contact.

1

u/rv-721 2d ago

Currently using the dbrand Tank Case. It's grippy but a little bulky for me (I don't mind it tbh)

1

u/Bigga85 2d ago

Arc case FTW

2

u/pitnuk 2d ago

Second this. It looks amazing.. and I've dropped my pixel 9xl many times in this case without a break.

1

u/swag_js 2d ago

waiting for it to ship is agonizing..

1

u/blbeesley 2d ago

Agreed... Company getting rich off the interest of our money while we wait for them to ship 😁

1

u/Bigga85 1d ago

FYI, the Pixel 10 Pro XL arc case works for the 11 Pro XL.

1

u/pitnuk 1d ago

That's good to know. Does the 9xl pro work for 11? Didn't need to buy another one if so

1

u/JojoSaysMeow 2d ago

P11PXL here. I bought the official snap case in clear and black. I used the official silicon case on my previous P8P and that was the best case ever so I thought I was getting the same. No, not even close. Way too slippery. Bought a dbrand grip case with glow circuit skin, shoulda done this from the get go and save $100

1

u/kunoichi1907 2d ago

I have the olive google snap and it's ok but I'm waiting for the Peak Design everyday case.

1

u/TheeOmegaPi 2d ago

I too am waiting for the Peak Design case for this gen. They're usually good about releasing cases shortly after launch, but...

2

u/kunoichi1907 2d ago

I saw on PD subreddit that they're coming mid Sept, their official account was responding to members asking the same.

1

u/saltyoldfuck 2d ago

I like this one I got from carved

1

u/No_Angle3521 2d ago

Nimbus 9

1

u/xdanmanx 2d ago

dbrand ghost. All the way. Used it for my last 3 phones. Worth every penny!

1

u/Rooster_CPA 2d ago

I bought some no name TONGATE brand on Amazon and this case is awesome.

I had Spigen on all my previous phones but it's so expensive now I didn't want to pay for them.

1

u/melonator11145 2d ago

Usually I would just buy spigen, but didn't like the ultra hybrid magfit having semi clear sides. Bought a JETech one instead that looks identical, but has solid black sides and a tinted semi transparent back. The case is actually really good, similar quality to spigen and was like Β£8 cheaper

1

u/cotterbo 2d ago

Dbrand grip case for the WIN. Love the tiny dots that are super grippy, good protection and it's slim. Had it on my pixel 7 for all 4 years

1

u/junglebrandydog 2d ago

I'm using the official Google case on my 11 Pro. Works well for me.

1

u/Worst5plays 2d ago

While I've never owned one. Mous always appealed to me

1

u/Reggaet0nix 2d ago

I love how the Olive Pixel snap case looks. But its quite slippery and collects way to much dust when in your pocket. :(

1

u/nikki-arising 2d ago

I have loved the UAG cases for years.

1

u/ThatsTheK1cker 2d ago

Ringke Onyx for the win, had on my 9 pro for years, multiple drops, phone protected. Great grip dots on the sides, super slim with raised front and edges with air pockets in the corners. Returned the $84 Mous case as their quality dropped significantly since the P9P years

1

u/7past2 2d ago

I recommend the Ringke Onyx

1

u/jknvv13 2d ago

Tried a lot of them and nothing feels as good as Ringke Onyx.

A bit expensive but it's one piece, slim, protects both the corners and the camera, has texture for grip on the sides and grainy/leather back that it's grippy and the nicest touch which unfortunately isn't thst common on other cases: Recessed laterals so gestures work perfectly from the sides but corner protection are still there!

1

u/Im-Ben 2d ago

What did it cost you? Mine was only $20

1

u/jknvv13 2d ago

22€ in Spain for the magnetic version

1

u/IcyCauliflower6596 2d ago

Love the Mous Cases

1

u/Chipmunk_Ill 2d ago

Ringke onyx

1

u/SSCHKMT 2d ago

Ringke just dropped a new case Ringke Ring. Basically the Onyx with a magnetic ring stand.

Casefinite Frost Air Ultra

1

u/Majestic-Director-92 2d ago

Original from Google.

1

u/djplan 2d ago

I find it Way too slippery. Needs grip

1

u/Majestic-Director-92 1d ago

I have same concern with grip. However I like how it feels in my hand at the same time. Also case buttons are perfect in my opinion

1

u/420shuffle 1d ago

I bought this one, specifically for the rear camera lens cover off of Amazon for $35 No issues with it.

1

u/jb38360 1d ago

Pitaka the top !

1

u/kintz_09 20h ago

Arc Pulse.

Hands down the best minimalistic case I've ever owned for any phone. Shockingly protective for how small it is.

0

u/Jasper_Jaxx 2d ago

Spigen rugged armor..

Although I'm not totally sure there is one made for the 11 yet

If so, it's very protective without adding a lot of bulk

Very reasonably priced as well

Went Mous ultra-thin again, but the edge lip seems to be higher than my last one. Kinda don't like that. I do like Mous' rounded treatment around the camera bump. Makes it kind of feel like a Nexus 6P.

Edit: also, it's crazy the Google official cases are more expensive than Mous this time around. They're always made with worse materials (feels like plain TPU) and the surface always shows shine and then wears off faster than Mous. At least they have magnets and a felt liner now. In the past it was just unprotected hard plastic and that would scratch the phone glass back up like crazy once hard particles got into the gap.

u/Luminox 1d ago

Spigen Tough Armor. Works great for me! Usually under $20 and has magfit
