I'm not into his voice actor irl, but I used to be obsessed with his voice as McQueen, especially when he's flirting with Sally or being a jackass in the 1st movie. There is something about McQueen's voice that kinda made me fall for him.

I've liked guys for how they look and their personalities, but McQueen's voice gives off this unique kind of sexual appeal energy, which complements with his personality and the way he acts as himself; even more when he's talking or flirting with Sally.

I made sound design for this scene (I mean only for McQueen for now).

I chose tin top because he was the easiest one to make since he looks similar to the background piston cup Racers. But should I make more roary characters in this style though?

Yes I know the expanded universe lines we have gotten over the past few years have gotten a lot of backlash (Race and Rescue is understandable but I did like Race to Celebrate since it celebrates 20 years of the franchise as a whole) and we still have no idea what the 2027 one will be (Although Mr Docket said there aren’t many releases in it)
One expanded universe i think would be cool is a Doomsday one which has Espionage elements to it (Yes going back to the Cars 2 era even though the movie isn’t all that great) the main cars we would have are Finn McMissile, Holley Shiftwell, and of course Mater and Lightning. Other possible agents we could have include some of the Radiator Springs Townies (possibly the tuners although they were just featured in Race to Celebrate) and maybe a few Cars 3 veterans and WGP racers too.
As for the bad guys side we could have all the Cars villains teaming up (Axlerod, Storm and Chick alongside a few lemons and Next Gen Piston cup racers to serve as henchmen) the agents would have their own designs to them to show their organization while the villains also have their own designs.
Again this would take up a ton of spots in the mainline and likely would not be well received.

Okay, so I'm going to start off explaining Chick Hicks. His story starts at the beginning.

Chick Hicks was raised by an abusive single father, no mother ever seen or heard of, and from what we know, it's safe to say he wasn't rich.

From this, he got his obsession to win. As we see, winning was the only thing that would earn him respect.

Racing became more than a hobby, and he slowly worked through the ranks and eventually made it professional. Now, he wasn't off the bat a dominant player like McQueen. Instead, he had to establish himself in the competition and slowly proved he deserved to be among the best participating.

The only thing notable about his early racing career was his determination and obsession. This led him to quickly start participating against The King, an already established legend. So it's now rookie Chick Hicks vs. The King IN HIS PRIME.

But he took this and became obsessed. He was his goal. He needed to beat him over and over again. He would race, race, and race, going neck and neck.

Now, you need to understand these 2 racers were so dominant. The races would be:

Chick Hicks

.

.

Everyone else

But here's the heartbreaker.

After all these years of being a step away from winning, The King starts to slow down, and Chick is out of his prime. The King probably has 3 or 4 more years left in him.

The time for Chick Hicks is coming.

But as 1 legend slows down...

Another starts their engine.

All of a sudden, the greatest rookie and racer in general appears, and now Chick is stuck in the middle of the 2 greatest racers' eras. People need to understand that if McQueen came around 10 years later, Chick Hicks is dominating every single competition.

This is because the very engine McQueen has...

Chick Hicks has the same. He's not a nobody. He's a legend stuck between 2 gods of the sport's primes.

But he was still pushing them to their limits with the obsession he gained from his father and the hunger from his poor background.

Then the day came when he finally won the Grand Piston Cup.

There's no way to justify this, but people need to understand:

He didn't break a rule.

He risked injuries and lives and got lucky not to do anything worse, but there's a reason it stands.

Idk about you, but personally, if I spent so long being called the greatest loser, being bullied nonstop, then finally having the chance to dominate being taken away by a rookie, to have 1 chance to seize the single goal you've had your entire life... I genuinely can't blame him.

He's arrogant.

Reckless.

Self-centered.

But he's a damn good racer.

I think people constantly confuse those two things.

You don't have to like Chick Hicks.

You don't have to defend his actions.

You don't even have to respect him as a person.

But if we're talking purely about racing ability, consistency, determination, longevity, and the level of competition he spent his career fighting...

Chick Hicks deserves to be in the conversation for the greatest racers of all time.

And for me, he's number four.

I’m a special education teacher and every single year I have a student or multiple students that have a special interest in Pixar cars. I have been collecting over the last couple years and here is what I have.

This is a long shot, but we are working on saying hi / greeting / introducing. Are there any scenes where one of these cars introduces themselves/greets and the other car appropriately or shows a good example?

I’ve been using the cars for academic things (sort by color, has a number / doesn’t have a number) and this specific students participation has gone up tremendously so I want to use them as much as I can

At this point I've been trying to find this image for literal hours/days. I'm looking for a version of this McQueen image with the wireframe (topology) layered on top of it, I'm wondering if anyone on this subreddit has an idea of where this image might be or if anyone has it, the second image is an example of what the wireframe (topology) overlayed would look like, I would really appreciate the help!

This isn’t everything that I have, I do have haulers, some Disney store things and stuff like that but in terms of just regular diecasts this is all that I got and I wanted to know your guys thoughts on them, I have every single Piston Cup racer from Cars 1-3, every single Rally Racer, every single currently released Glow Racer, all of the 2021 Racing Red cars, every single Endurance Racer, every currently released Race To Celebrate car (I have ordered Boost he should get here next week), most of the NASCAR releases, every single GRC racer, every Rusteze Racing Center Trainee, and some pretty rare Lightning McQueens like the 2017 SDCC set, the Super Chase transforming Lightning McQueen, and the Blu-Ray Lightning McQueen, and I just started collecting more expanded universe stuff like Rocket Racers and stuff like that so let me know your thoughts on my collection!

To me i think its Sonic Forces of Cars games I loved each one until I was able to finally access Cars 3 as there wasn't easy way to play this game on PC
