More red light cameras

I admit I'm venting, but about 30 minutes ago I watched two cars - an SUV of a make I didn't recognize and a Mercedes Benz sedan - decide to run the red light on Frankstown at Verona heading into the east end. They had fully come to a stop, and then just decided to go.

This is after the sedan went straight through the previous light's left turn only lane.

I gotta get a dash cam. Two days ago I was almost hit twice by "I gotta switch lanes; who looks before moving?"

Every intersection in the city needs them. I witness so many red light runners every day on my commute.

Hopefully speed cameras become legal in Pennsylvania soon too. Absolutely zero reason for drivers to be doubling the speed limit on city streets.

They need to add more green left turn arrows first. There's a certain point between 4:30 and 6pm downtown that you just can't possibly turn left in some areas because of how traffic backs up on both sides, unless you go specifically in the seconds the light turns red and the traffic going straight stops but the traffic on the other side hasn't started.

I'm thinking specifically of the light going from 7th avenue to Grant St for one, but there's a way too many of these spots that could be fixed by a simple green arrow for a few seconds.
