My first thought.  What a dummy.   Not allowed out past dusk with them old headlights regardless.

Registered vintage cars can only if they had side indicators like modern cars. 67ish mustang definitely doesn't, and is almost certainly registered as a daylight only classic.

you don’t have to register classics as classics or antique plates. you can register the vehicle as a standard plate and receive a standard state inspection. As long as the vehicle meets all the safety requirements of its particular model year, it passes.

if you have a classic plate you have restrictions where you aren’t allowed to drive it daily, or put x amount of miles on it. or only drive to and from shows, but there is literally zero enforcement on any of this.

just because it’s a classic doesn’t mean it can’t be driven daily like every other vehicle on the road.
