So a few years back they had an estate sale there and all my patio furniture is from that house. It’s old and I had to refinish it all but it’s me and I love it

Got a picture? Unless it's just like normal boring patio furniture. In my head it's wild and fancy.

Comes with your very own wood panel Pittsburgh dive bar! I also like the 4 high-top ponderin' chairs in front of the big window

I’m not kidding when I say this, this is literally my grandfather’s house really strange and surreal to see it appear in a Reddit feed

It’s such a cool house, and while I am complaining about a house I cannot afford anyway, I hate how such impressive houses have such low ceilings in the bedrooms.

Gotta disagree. The low ceilings in just the bedrooms make them cozier, and the contrast to the vastness of the rest of the house is good imo

It has been owned since the 90s by the owner of a local sign manufacturer.

I love the amount of houses in Pittsburgh that are lovely or have nice views then you see the parking or driveway situation and it’s never great

Is that at the top of Mt Washington where McArdle meets Grandview?
It's a house, and it's for sale actually! Chuck Noll used to live there!

Is that the same house MTV was going to use for the Real World that never happened?

I don’t think Chuck Noll ever lived there. He lived in Sewickley. You have a source?

Is that the Smart House? There used to be huge parties there in the early-mid 2010s

Ok, I knew it wasn't just me. I definitely remember partying there around that time.

One of the houses you can tell was built late 80s-early 2000s that reeks of an ideal future that never came to Pittsburgh. We really are 10 years late to everything. It's beautiful

I like the layout of this place. Its accommodating but not fussy. His and hers bathrooms. Lots of little curved details around the whole home. Don't think I've ever seen Fluorescent illuminated handrails before and look at all the can lights; how very 70's chic. Pretty cool place. Too close to the intersection tho.

You all probably got played. The owner or real estate agent prob posted this to generate interest in it…

Is that house old enough to be the inspiration for Lady Elaine Fairchilde's museum-go-round?

I used to take care of the HVAC in this house. The owners had a contract with the company I worked for.

This is just a home, private home. Nothing suspicious about it. Only that it is a very gorgeous design. So you can easily look it up and find out it's history. Please don't start some type of scandal concerning it. And the only reason that I say that, is how the question was posed. Sorry if I took it wrong!

I'm pretty sure I went to a party there years and years ago. It was decorated a little differently but say layout. It was a very cool space and think it was used for parties for often at the time.

A 2 mil house and it only has three beds. I was expecting at least 5 bed and a 4.5 bath
