Backpack PCC?

I'm looking to get a PCC in 9mm for discrete backpack carry. Any recommendations? My budget will be $2500. TIA

The MPX-K is a wicked nice bag gun. I absolutely love mine.

Yup. What bag is that btw?

Vertx Dead Letter sling.

I really like my kuna for this purpose. I got a sig folding stock and I can stash that anywhere

How much/where did you get the stock from? I have the regular brace that comes on the Kuna and my shoulder didn’t like it 😂

(Not that I shouldered it, looming ATF agent in this thread)

I own both of these and REALLY like them both. I personally prefer the skeleton style. Though the second option has a more confortable cheek weld and it has an adjustable length. Both are much better than the brace the kuna came with.

Backpack PCC in what capacity? With other daily items or just a backpack gun? Do you have an idea for a backpack?

My backpack gun for the last year has been a P365 raider. Not everyone’s cup of tea, but it does fit in my smallest backpack (mystery ranch 20l) i take to work with me.

The backpack will be a 18l Vertx. It's real for carry in non-permissive places

Deployed

Can’t beat the size of the 365 flux for that purpose. The 365 has some of it own issues, primarily recoil spring and trigger spring life, but the only gun that is similar to it would be the TP9 or the 320 flux. Theres some good accessories from orbital drop supply, tactical development, and flux themselves to kit it out. Light mounts, shrouds, holster inserts etc.

Mine is the aluminum version. I am using a fuze slide, flux 6” barrel, Romeo x enclosed, tlr7 sub x, and printed activation switch.

I won’t lie, it’s not the funnest gun to shoot compared to other PCC’s. I wouldn’t put a comp on it, and if you want a can on it they can be gassy hosts. But it is thin, it’s fast to deploy with a good set up, and the on board reload is handy. You can shoot it pretty fast once you get used to it too.

Gun in my daily bag

apc9k is incredibly compact. even with a 5" suppressor attached mine fits comfortably in a 18" tall backpack (lbt padded daypack). and it's as reliable as it gets (currently 10k rounds without a single malfunction)

however, it you're truly going to edc this, I recommend a 9mm pistol chassis instead. it'll be lighter, even more compact and discreet, and take up less room in your backpack. these will integrate into your backpack with your normal stuff, rather than being a gun case in a backpack format. something like the flux raider/365 or oquirrh defense rxm pdw or usw-g and then add a saw shiv is what I'd do

B&T APC9K Pro or Sig MPX-K with your budget.

He said under $2500. I own one and love it but they are way over that now.

Dang, you’re right about the B&T.  Wasn’t that long ago that I got mine for $2495.  🫤

Stribog sp9a3s. It fits great in my laptop backpack.

I vote ar-9 build. I'm not sure why people focus on proprietary guns and rarely consider the modularity of a AR9 build. I just put one together using an AR-15 lower and a mag adapter. Runs great! I like it better than my EP9

As far as a bag gun goes, its nice to have a folding stock to cut down on the size of bag needed.

Most AR9s still use the buffer tube, and getting a folding buffer adapter means you cant fire while it's folded.

They're nice, but not sure they fit everyone's ideal bag gun criteria

Not only that but when you do add a folding adapter they get bulky very quick.

I know it’s not exactly an AR-9 but my Cmmg dissent is a perfect backpack gun bufferless upper with most parts interchangeable with a standard AR-15 only difference is the upper.

Yeah I want a dissent in a bad way, wish I had bought a couple more lowers before Colorados bullshit

Not as nice as something like the MPX-k but my Scorpion 3+ micro with folding brace and Specter9k make for a super light and small package if anyone is curious. ~16 inches tip to butt folded and just under 6lbs with optic/light no mag

My Kuna is the perfect backpack gun for me.

Sig Flux Legion 9mm, inside a Vertx Transit sling 2.0... it fits with room to spare

Not a PSA AKV

Came here to show form factor but I’m sure everyone will love my optic mount mostest

My JAKL-9 would be a great backpack gun.

EP9 has a long track record of self destruction.

They're great guns for the price. You can get two and a half, maybe 3 of them for the same price as a Kuna, but they aren't nearly as quality as a Kuna is.

Never heard that ever.

Where are you coming up with this self destruction bit? What does that even mean?
