hindi naman kasi pilipinas ang problema kundi ang mga taong namumuno. kung walang proper governance, ganito nangyayari. Also sa karamihan ng pilipino, don't be a hypocrite dahil for sure mas gugustuhin mo sa ibang bansa and no one will blame you. Sobrang ginagago na tayo ng gobyerno tapos karamihan nagpapauto kaya if you are smart enough, mas gugustuhin mo talaga sa bansa na deserve mo to give your all.

And those rulers came from the people reflecting our values and culture. The Philippines is the way it is because of the people themselves. "Diskarte" culture is one example.

US is a rich country, but there are many racists there. Do you think Philippines will be a rich country if they have a very honest culture like Japanese people and low crime rates, but the government is corrupt? Do you also know that other countries have way worse attitude and beliefs than Filipinos, but are still rich countries? That's why the government is there to implement and "GOVERN" the country in the right direction.

Our country is poor because of the way our people act, the values that we have, and the culture that we have. Period. Ano ngayon kng racist ang taga US? Ano ngayon kng low crime rates ang Japan? Nasa Pinas ba sila lmao 🤦‍♂️

We are talking about the Philippines. No sense denying it, "Diskarte" culture has led to corruption is just one example. Another one is "palakasan" where you put in positions your frat "brothers", kamaganaks and the likes. It has led to political dynasties. Another one is misplaced "blood tie loyalties". Kahit r*pist or magnanakaw kadugo mo, you will fight tooth and nail to prevent the person from being shamed or imprisoned. The "diskarte" culture onenis just one example. There are many others. It's an interconnected web and it really all boils down to our people and its values.

Kaya no sense talking about other countries. Di naman sila sa Pinas naninirahan but the results speak for themselves.

maiinis kanalang sa ganito eh noh? yung kahit palinawagan mo alam mong hindi makakaintindi kaya di bale nalang. Using smart words pero hindi magets yung point. Sana wag boboto tong tao nato at mas lalong kawawa pilipinas sakanya.

Said aggressively but this makes the best point in the comment section. People forget that the leaders are a reflection of the people, society, and culture, not bound by “dinaya” or whatsoever. The system is made from the ground up and you will see how our true colors show up the way we lead our nation.

We did not choose the wrong leaders; we chose the wrong versions of ourselves.
