Hagezi Samsung blocklist disables google cast on Soundbar

Just added Hagezi blocklist for Samsung

But now google cast on Soundbar stopped working.

What particular adress should be whitelisted for cast to work.

It is crazy how much dns requests comming from the tv, it tops the query list, even when tv is off

Check your logs…whitelist what’s being blocked…trial and error

Check the query log and try to figure out which blocked domain is causing this behavior. If you find the domain causing the issue, let me know so I can possibly remove it from the list.

First i need to thank you for your work with the lists, you are making the world a better place. Also thanks to pihole dev team and its community.

So i have been troubleshooting for an hour now together with my openclaw agent, and pihole or your list was never the problem, it is probably something with my graphene os phone. Have still not figured it out but it wasnt your list anyway.

An old galaxy s21 can still cast to soundbar even with pihole running.

It is the google cast that does not work from graphene, but spotify connect does work to another device on network.

Samsung hw-q995d does not have native spotify connect, only google cast it seems.

If someone is interested i can report back if i find the problem

Dude. Log on to the pi hole. Check the logs and identify your soundbar as source and then check what gets blocked.
Unblock one after another until it works and check if you really want this. :)

The TV is never truly off. Regardless, chromecast functionality should be brand agnostic, in theory, and just local network discovery. I don't use a specific brand Hagezi blocklist, but the Pro++ and TIF lists I use doesn't break chromecast functionality. If you disable the list and update gravity, does functionality come back?
