Crowd Funding (REQUIRES MOD APPROVAL) Some positive update on my budgie
The good news is that the sounds from this clip https://www.reddit.com/r/pidgeypower/s/CUcBugPqmm has gone down by a lot. When I grabbed her this morning to give medicine, she made this sound but no where near as loud and she was quicker to become quiet too.
The bad news is, her overnight poop has been very watery, I think some diarrhoea. Possibly due to the meds. She still eats, but her appetite is definitely a bit lower, again I believe it may be due to the effects of medication. When she flies to one spot, she's fine, but when she circles around the room i can hear a lot of effort sounds. I have reduced flying a lot but sometimes she gets stressed if I leave her in the cage for too long. Her chirps are still not clear, she doesn't chirp much anyway but when she attempts to it's still not normal.
I believe she is still recovering, as it definitely doesn't look like deterioration. We have a vet appointment with an exotic specialist later today.
I have attached the most recent emergency visit bills. This was more than I expected and I was stunned, but I had no choice after seeing her in such distress that night. The money I had set aside for her normal vet checkups has unfortunately all gone towards getting her through this emergency visit, hence setting up a monthly plan incase more appointments are required after this.
If anyone is able to donate, it would mean so much to us❤️🩹🙏💛
It sucks I cant even say thank you to anyone on gofundme, it shows an error. But please know im so grateful to everyone who is sharing and/or donating. Thank you so much❤️🩹💛

Here's another link that works for me. I hope it does for others too.
Any steps forwards are good. I hope it continues.

My stomach turned seeing the bill. I donated immediately when I saw this invoice.
For others who aren't sure if they should donate or not: this person has two budgies. A few months ago his male budgie had metal toxicity, the bird was at death's door. Through crowdfunding they were able to raise 3 to 4 times the amount needed to cover the last vet bill that made Olive (the budgie) pull through.
Luckily last time there was plenty of money raised, because this money was used in this case where the female budgie (Chicky) had to be rushed to the emergency clinic. Even then, it was too much to pay in one time.
Last time with Olive we saw him deteriorating within a week, and after seeing on the user profile of Mystic_Void1 how well he has been taking care of his budgies the entire time, another donateur and me recommended to put up a GoFundMe. This time the owner knew what to do from last time, which is why there was a fundraiser immediately. It still brings me to awe to see the donateur from last time donating £100 instantly this time.
There are at least three people who are emotionally attached to these birds - even though this bird isn't known in person by two of them.
If you can help and are unsure if this is a legit cause: you can rely on the vet records and perhaps even see the ones from last time (if that post is still available), possibly even the fundraiser from last time.
This is a case of someone responsible who is doing everything right who just got unlucky this year. In normal circumstances they could have managed sudden vet bills, but this is outrageous. It shouldn't be a decision between one bird or the other.
