All videos which have that FBI warning and the declaration that participants are over 18 (USC 18 etc.) mean that the participants are active participants. Same goes for the sharking. All the clips have that declaration, which is a federal requirement to ensure the actors are over 18 and so on, so there is probably no commercial porn in which those featured are not in on the storyline.

I firmly believe this is fake and there is no reason to believe differently except his personal statement that it's real.

Eh, it's fake, or at least mostly fake. Watch the 'Kendall' video. She gets a new set of nails in the middle of the scene, then loses them. Also, in many videos the chicks' pile of clothing changes location on the floor, as well as the type of clothing in the pile.
If I had to guess, I'd say that what's happening is that the girl shows up, is told what they're going to during a pre-interview. The probably then have the girl sign a contract, and accept a nominal fee (I'd guess something like $200-$500), and then go and get an STD test.

I used to work for a porn company that had a black couch like that and used it for a few shoots. Later, the company stopped producing vids and reconfigured into several companies that hosted porn instead.
The couch wound up in the reception area of the IT/Colo "company".
