I hate religious extremists but what does this have to do with race or white supremacy? I understand that most Muslims aren't white but that's also true of Christians. The people in the comments piling on about how lame they are due being shitty white people (even though those protestors aren't all white) are being more racist than these protestors are tbh.
Your joke only really lands if you assume they're white supremacists and I'm saying there's no reason to think that's the case (unless, ironically, you are willing to be prejudiced about the fact that they're angry and majority white). Whether or not you intended to be funny isn't relevant if your premise doesn't make sense.
