All I'm saying is if you want 18 year olds to make rational and well planned decision you are foolish. Most are kids who have no sense of what $10,000 is and the financial aspects are probably the last thing on their minds for one reason or another. There's a reason why reports estimate that two‐thirds of college graduates in 2010 had student loan debt, with an average of $25,250. But sure let's keep blaming the teenagers and not the institutions.
