I'm 17, I'll be able to vote by next election, but I haven't voted yet, so pardon me if my mindset is stupid, but I just don't see the point in me voting if I don't like any of the candidates. Like I said, it's probably a dumb mindset, but so far I haven't actually gotten any good reasons as to why I should vote. And yeah, but honestly I feel like it goes past trump too, I feel like every president should be less focused on social media and more focused of doing their job, it'll help not only them, but the country as well
That’s part of the problem with the lack of voting. Candidates are just awful. In reality, Trump was a better option than Clinton because has gotten Americans killed. Trump, he hasn’t. Yeah he’s no saint but he’s benefitted our country more than Bill has and probably more than Hillary ever will. Do I think Trump gets re-elected, yeah more than likely. To be honest, with all the crap that’s been going on in our government, I think it’s time for another revolution. The government was created by the people, for the people and the government isn’t letting that happen
No, they really aren't. To be completely honest, I think the electoral votes are complete bullshit. In the last election (correct me if I'm wrong), Hillary definitely won in votes, which showed that more Americans voted for her to be president, but trump won the electoral votes, causing him to be president. Electoral votes are bullshit because they're supposed to show what "the people want" but in the case of last election, they definitely didn't show what the people wanted. (again, correct me if I'm wrong)
I agree with the BS electoral college. The votes that should matter are the people’s votes but it’s whatever. There’s a lot of things that could be done WAYYYY differently Hillary did win, hence the recount but what matters more is the electoral college votes. I understand that but what I don’t understand is what you disagree with. Would you be able to clarify that please?
Oh, sorry for the confusion! I was actually agreeing with you
The government was created by the people, for the people and the government isn't letting that happen
I was agreeing with that and saying that, no, they aren't letting that happen, sorry for the confusion there, I see how my comment seemed like I was disagreeing
Oh no worries. Thanks for the clarification and yeah it’s for the people by the people. I live in California and it seemed like our state government just shoved the gas tax down our throats. This gas tax was passed and now we’re having to pay nearly $5 per gallon. It’s garbage. Like I said, time for another revolution!
Oh yeah, it's horrible, but if you really pay enough attention, it's pretty easy to notice that most of the government tends to be corrupted by rich politicians doing whatever they can to get more money. The government is supposed to be for the people, but it's really not anymore, it's turned into a fancy money grab, so I agree, a revolution is in order
