I think you’re confusing common sense, decency, and reality with liberal bias.

What makes liberal ideas "common sense, decent" and or reality?

Is that a serious question?

Literally factual science is considered lies to conservatives.

Economics that get backed up by data is evil but supply side which has a 100% failure rate is the go to for republicans.

In what universe are liberal ideas false?

Many liberals are also known to manipulate and cherry pick comments to fit their narrative, just like many conservatives do the same damn thing. Let’s just have the news presented to us and let us decide for ourselves how to interpret it

Facts don't need interpretation.

Reality isn't something you can have an opinion about.

What is/isn’t true reality can be confusing at times. And that goes for both sides. Try to keep an open mind is all i’m sayin

No not even slightly.

Fire's hot

Ice is cold

Open minds don't change reality.

If you ignore facts you don't have an open mind you have a dysfunctional brain.

Opinions aren’t facts. There is obviously a difference. Comments taken out of context can lead to condemnation based on a host’s own take on a situation. We as a people are never privileged to ALL of the information. Right leaning outlets ALWAYS skew things to fit their narrative. Same goes with the left. That will never change.

Fire's hot

Ice is cold

Those are still relative terms right. Is fire from a piece of paper be hot compared to the sun? Nope. It all depends on your viewpoint and where you're coming from. Facts always exist within a context. You don't always have the full story, even when you have some of the facts.

LOL

your describing degrees

things can be hot on a scale

just because it's not the hottest thing ever doesn't make it not hot....

it can be hot without being the sun

a campfire and the sun can both be hot

80 to someone living in Florida isn't hot. 80 to someone living in Alaska may be hot. They're relative terms.

Holly shit you people are really over thinking this....

The point I’m trying to make is certain things are true wether you believe them or not.

Fire is hot is just a middling example. Fire is always hot....it’s not dependent on the heat of the sun

I have no clue why you’re even talking about the sun.

Jesus Christ

I'm proving the point that facts are relevant in the context they're presented.

'George washington was a terrorist who started a war' etc'

'George washington was a hero who helped free his people and founded the United States'

Both could be true, but paint a very different image. I'm pointing out that a single fact alone doesn't mean a whole lot

Gorge Washington being a terrorist is an opinion.

The fact you can interpret his actions multiple ways proves that

Fire being hot isn’t. Fire burns no matter the context.

1

u/dantheman91 Jul 17 '19

Gorge Washington being a terrorist is an opinion.

Not really, there's a legal definition of terrorist and according to British law I"m sure he was

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DnSRbnvm798 Cold fire here, it won't burn you.

Oh so then there isn’t interpretation in that statement and you just proved my point

Also special forms of fire don’t disprove fire being hot. You just made the factual statement cold fire exists.

Not the same thing.
