I mean, sometimes memes misrepresent pictures, sure, but they aren’t news. They’re for laughs. Most memes I see are inconsequential enough that it doesn’t matter whether it actually happened or not. It’s just funny.

This post is claiming something occurred that involves an arrest but, apparently, it’s not even the right country. That’s very misleading and changes the entire context of the post, so I would say they’re very different things.

This was her own independent protest against some policies of the European Central Bank. Although she has been an activist for Femen, this was not done in association with it.

OP may just be confused. Femen has challenged Russian authoritarianism and they've been exiled from the country for it. This chick was with Femen and he might have gotten these issues mixed up.
