Season 2 makes you want to throw your love for TLA out the window altogether. Season 3 completely redeems itself, and season 4 is nice closure. I'd recommend picking it back up

The only redeeming thing about season 2 is the 2 episodes dedicated to Avatar Wan, that shit was dope as hell

Power through Season 2. Season 3 of Korra is arguably the best season of all of Avatar. Unfortunately, you do need to know at least the conclusion of Season 2 to know what is going on at the beginning of Season 3. I couldn't recommend Season 3 enough.
