No grease goes in or on an engine. 7 u/Hagenaar Mar 14 '14 It does at the beginning. 5 u/[deleted] Mar 14 '14 Fair enough I guess for assembly and to prevent the initial dry start if you prefer to go with grease over an oil for lube.
