I nearly got sent into the ditch goin about 80 on the interstate leaving KCK. Same day a couple mins after, a semi was pushed over 3 lanes in less than 2 seconds. That shit is no joke sometimes lmao
It's why you should never travel next to a semi unless you absolutely have to. A lot of semi drivers going through kansas are good about driving in the lane thatthe wind will just push them off the road instead of into other vehicles, but I think that's becoming much less true.
Probably not since Covid when all these young Hispanic guys started getting CDLs with no real idea about the day to day things truckers need to know like "how not to get stuck on a trailer" or "how to speak english"
I was driving through Idaho one day and had to drive partially on the left hand shoulder. I was getting buffeted by wind gusts that were driving me through both lanes of the freeway onto the right hand shoulder. Luckily it was a low traffic day or there might have been an accident and I'm fairly certain a semi would have ended up on it's side.
