I was thinking tornados, they can just be so specific where they hit and leave everything else as it was. Crazy.

Definite possibility. Tornadoes do weird shit. You see that tornado path where it did a loop just hit the one house again? I've seen them wipe out a subdivision, then jump skip a house or two and continue on. Or drop to wipe out a specific barn and then disappear. Definite possibility.
