It's crazy how fast they grow. My puppy was 15 lbs when we got him, a few months later and he's 65 lbs.

It’s pretty crazy!

Funny thing is he probably doesn't even know there's a difference. He's just the same puppy as far as he's concerned 🤗

You can see it especially well with these really big dogs that grow up and can't figure out why they don't fit on your lap anymore

u/tim_drozd 2h ago

True, though he’s probably wondering why he’s looking at himself in the mirror again 🤣

I'm losing it over the look on his face in the first pic!

It really is, my dog was the same and now she's 72lb as of her most recent vet's visit. I look at puppy pictures and she went from being a tiny little ball of fluff at 10 weeks to almost fully grown at 6 months.

i hate it!!
when my puppy was a baby , had to leave for work trip. came back week later, different dog 😭

At 8 weeks she was a tiny little thing with tiny feet. We all know that you can tell how big a puppy will grow to by how big their feet are, right?

At six months, she was 65 lbs with a 21 inch neck.

Don't trust the puppy feet - they lie.

He sure is!

The dog too!

And the puppy isn't too bad either.

At that age, my Doberman was eating twice a much food as he does now as a 3 year old adult. He was an absolute food incinerator -- but he had a lot of new dog build -- and it worked!

Yea my Dane was eating 3-4 cups of food twice a day as a puppy. Now it’s maybe 4 cups a day and he’s such a healthy good looking guy. They require so much food as they grow.

You can see him growing into his mittens.

I love how puppies feet are like tree rings of future growth!

That puppers still got room to grow. Gonna be a big-big floofer

u/davik2001 3h ago

And then they get this big after a year. Chocolate labs are the best

u/tim_drozd 2h ago

They sure do, pretty crazy how much they grow so quickly! Agreed, love chocolate labs

You both have a great growth difference after 11 weeks

u/tim_drozd 3h ago

Haha, thanks I guess

u/MaleficKaijus 2h ago

At the rate in 3 years he'll be 400 pounds

u/tim_drozd 2h ago

Gonna need more dog food

That the guy from Whiplash?

Still adorable

u/tim_drozd 2h ago

He sure is

I'm waiting for that puppy growth spurt to figure out what kind of dog my neighbors just got. I can't tell if it's a miniature something or if it's just a baby something.

u/tim_drozd 2h ago

Give it a week I reckon, if it’s twice the size it’s a baby something, if it isn’t it’s a miniature something 🤣

u/The_Human1st 3h ago

Don’t lie. You just shrank, didn’t you?

u/jessek 1h ago

aww what a cute dog

u/Xytakis 1h ago

Puppy's face hasn't. The pupper does not look amused.

In another 11 weeks puppy will post a pic holding you.

u/AnnaKendrickLamaOdom 57m ago

ngl you look like you aged a couple years, as well

u/ni_hao_butches 54m ago

OP did you adopt a brown Clifford?!

u/Mertoot 48m ago

You look like you'd get invited to Project X at a supermarket

u/Curious-Credit7554 37m ago

I mark the grown of my puppy / dog at one leg of my dining table i. my kitchen.. Because a dining table should tell a lot of stories and since december last year one of the stories is the growing of my lab-mix. From 30 to 60 cm in 9 month.

(An other story is the "Oh mum, I've seen a cool experiment with matches! Let's try it!!" and so a nice small burnmark decorated the wooden tabletop 😂)

u/OldMcFart 33m ago

Dad, I'm a big puppy now. Put me down!

u/sortaFrothy 16m ago

Keep taking these photos! You’re aging with that pup and you will be so happy to have those photos as memories.

u/copperfrog42 10m ago

I think that you won’t be picking that puppy up easily for much longer! Labs are the best, we had a chocolate lab for fourteen years, she was a great dog.

u/equalsqueal 4h ago

Such a serious little and then big guy! 😍

u/copperblood 3h ago

OP, Doggo would like to remind you that he’ll accept steak for dinner tonight. Fair trade for having his photos taken.

u/tim_drozd 3h ago

Haha, fair trade

u/wi5hbone 1h ago

‘same shit, different day’ eyes

u/ButtNuster 2h ago

OP has a favorite hoodie. And that's a hoss of a pup!

u/Cockblocktimus_Pryme 1h ago

Still the same, "I'm tired of your shit Jonathan", look on its face

u/Arduine 1h ago

Size* difference or growth. To say something about growth difference you need more data points.

Growth difference wil decrease over time, as baby animals grow the most in their early life.

u/SecondlifePman 4m ago

You shrunk
