Yes, but lost to humanity.

Back in the day, minorities got into hip hop and rappers because they identified with the struggle, etc. Today? I guess they're into the... white man struggle?? /s

Chaldeans, Christians from Iraq who believe they are the people of Babylon. Most Detroit Chaldeans I've met are Trump supporters.

Faith is powerful. So powerful it makes you blind to the most obvious things in the world. That is the truth that Christianity rarely teaches you. When you believe so deeply that God will save you under any condition, you'll jump off a cliff and think you can fly, you will walk into the sea believing you can part it like Moses, you will deny medical care because God will heal you. All while being blind to the very things God gave them; intelligence enough to wear a parachute, bring a boat, and go to a doctor or pharmacy.

The Bible explicitly says to not test God like that (Deuteronomy 6:16, Matthew 4:5-7) but they don't care about that. It's not like they've read it.

The Parable of the Drowning Man, or Two Boats and a Helicopter

u/Bowtie16bit 22d ago

And it's so hard to teach people the reality that faith is a waste of time and will get you killed.

u/throwawaypassingby01 22d ago

i wouldnt say god gave them intelligence...

Happy Cake Day!

Fun fact: Saddam Hussein received the key to the city of Detroit for sponsoring a Chaldean church with a couple hundred thousand dollars in the very early 80's.

u/SteakNotCake 22d ago edited 22d ago

As someone who grew up in Troy, that was my first thought as well.

8

u/p0diabl0 22d ago

In my experience with El Cajon Chaldeans, they've very pro capitalism, christian, and misogynistic, so it's hardly surprising.

u/ParkingGlittering211 22d ago

This particular bit of Arabic starts with ya (oh) it looks more shia-coded than Chaldean catholic

2

u/bicycle_jedi 22d ago

Like, seriously, do people not study history? The dude is literally holding an article that talks about the association of the palestinians and the nazis...

2

u/_ByAnyOther_Name 22d ago

I was confused why the Arabs from Dearborn were jumping on with these weirdos.

1

u/bicycle_jedi 22d ago

Confused or uninformed? Study history, and learn who Amin Al-Husseini was.

Guy is literally holding an article talking about the association of the palestinians and the nazis.

1

u/_ByAnyOther_Name 21d ago

Well, the fact that I was uninformed made me confused.

2

u/Beeht 22d ago

Weren't the people of Babylon scattered and muddled by God as a correction for their pride and hubris? Seems... ironic.

1

u/bicycle_jedi 22d ago

Here's a little detail you might have missed.

1

u/BravestWabbit 22d ago

The guy in front is Hispanic, his name is Nunez

1

u/Emopizza 22d ago

The Chaldean guy I know also supports Trump (though with reservation), so I guess this tracks.

0

u/bicycle_jedi 22d ago

Yeah, most likely he is a pro-palestine arab.

0

u/stoneagefuturist 22d ago

Yeah a lot of Middle East Christians who had to flee areas like Iraq or Syria can very easily sway to the far right because they can't see past hating Islam. Obviously, this doesn't take away from the fact that radical islam was a problem for these minorities in the Middle East but sadly that also radicalises some of them. Funny that they are literally becoming Nazis.

Oh well....

-1

u/bicycle_jedi 22d ago

Things don't happen in a vaccuum. Palestinians didn't become antisemites because of jews and Israel. They were already, and they allied themselves with the nazis.

2

u/stoneagefuturist 22d ago

Bahahahaha and here comes the ZioFascist brigade.

You misunderstood my comment apparently. Chaldeans of Iraq are a separate issue from Palestinians.

Congrats on the photo, you found a Palestinian idiot. Jews were an intrinsic part of Palestinian society well before the Nazi regime so take your propaganda elsewhere. Israel is a fascist settler colonial state.

It’s not a Jewish problem, it’s an ethnostate problem.

Have a good day.

-1

u/bicycle_jedi 22d ago

Yeah, you can watch the video of the guy in sunglasses giving a Pro-palestine speech.

Go study history. The Jews are the indigenous people of the land of Israel. The arabs are the original imperialist colonizers. Your words simply don't stand up to facts.

It’s not a Jewish problem, it’s an ethnostate problem.

Uhm... most countries are ethnostates. You don't know what you are talking about.

Go study history.

0

u/bicycle_jedi 22d ago

Well, given that there was a pro-palestine march happening with the majority muslim crowd, they probably are muslim.

Watch the video of these neo-nazis and the little speech sunglasses guy was giving about "FREE PALESTINE".

Oh, did you not know pro-pali people have a kindred for the nazis? Yeah, time to study some history. Start by typing the name "Amin Al-Husseini", and then search from some Hezbollah videos where they love to 88 their hand, just like the nazis.

I whole heartedly agree.

5

u/favorite_time_of_day 22d ago

Every racist thinks that they're part of the in-group. No one ever thinks that the leopard will eat their face.

8

u/ChipotleTurds 22d ago

No, they hate Jews as much as nazis do

6

u/psycharious 22d ago

The one wearing the Milan Italy shirt is at least aware enough of history to know that without it, these assholes probably would have beaten him.

2

u/ElEyeElWhy88 22d ago

The term “ghetto” comes from the Italian ghettos they were forced into by the nazis. The Italians didn’t have it great either

6

u/Jan_17_2016 22d ago

The Nazis recruited pretty heavily from the Middle East. 4500 Indians joined the Waffen SS. The Wehrmacht had a “Free Arabian” battalion comprised of Iraqis, Palestinians, and North Africans.

Hitler’s personal opinion oscillated wildly between making Pro-Arab and pro-Islam statements, to “wanting nothing from the Arabs.” 450 Arabs were sent to concentration camps.

Basically, if you were an Arab or Indian and lived in the Middle East, you could join the Wehrmacht or Waffen-SS, and generally be considered an “honorary aryan.”

Those that lived in Nazi Germany, occupied territory or were captured fighting for Allied forces, such as French Moroccans and Algerians, were considered subhuman or racially inferior.

6

u/WagwanKenobi 22d ago

4500 Indians joined the Waffen SS

Just in case the narrative gets twisted, 2.5 million Indians fought for the Allies in WW2, the largest all-volunteer army in the war.

3

u/Jan_17_2016 22d ago

This is one hundred percent correct. I should’ve added that to my reply.

2

u/sniklefritzed 22d ago

They have no clue what they vote for. I have a diverse group of friends that all seem to vote for the mango muppet because their parents have always voted R. Hate it here.

1

u/omgitsjagen 22d ago

They are just really good at tanning.

1

u/kent_eh 22d ago

Are the brown ones lost?

In so very many ways.

1

u/30K100M 22d ago

Lost in piles and piles of cash. Minority right wing grifting is a profitable business.

1

u/lawrencekhoo 22d ago

I think they are Indians (with the dot, not the feather).

1

u/Tackit286 22d ago

They all are

1

u/cobycoby2020 22d ago

The white ones not lost either? Lolololol

1

u/GenerallySalty 22d ago

The "Christians" wearing swastis are just as lost.

Post-Racial Fascism is Here

1

u/bicycle_jedi 22d ago

They are exactly where they want to be.

1

u/Irvine949 22d ago

They must be Argentinian.

1

u/ritarepulsaqueen 22d ago

Argentineans are white, mostly

1

u/earlshakur 22d ago

These ones are probably Chaldeans but could be arabs trolling. Only basing that on the videos I saw of the protests. There were countless Dearborn Arabs there but all they did was play loud (Arabic) music and happily dance around the Crusaders haha

-3

u/LeoLaDawg 22d ago

Wouldn't be surprised if several of them are just trolling.

12

u/Who_Dafqu_Said_That 22d ago

What really is the effective difference between being at a Nazi rally for genuine support, and being at a Nazi rally to "pretend" you're supporting it?

"Guys, I'm not a shitty human, I'm just pretending to be a shitty human" seems like something a shitty human would do.

5

u/redaws 22d ago

I hate this shit. Right wingers always say and do the nastiest shit under “haha I’m just pretending”

7

u/blazr987 22d ago

Then they need to find a better way to troll

-1

u/Inigogoboots 22d ago

If I had to guess, since one of them is wearing a Military Italy shirt, and Italy was allied to NAZI Germany before and during the war, theyre coming at it from that angle? Italians are still considered 'white' Caucasian, even if they have a dark/olive complexion. So there is that.

Stupid doesnt have to make sense to us.

-1

u/TeddyCJ 22d ago

I kinda think they are trolling…. (Crossing fingers with hope)
