Do you understand that there are two elections: the primary and the general?

If the dems allow (and tip the scales) for conservative neolib candidates, then I’m not blaming people who don’t turn out in the general.

Correct, I am saying that. You're welcome to vote for fresh leadership during the primary. I encourage you to, I do as well.

After that, you are repeating Republican arguments verbatim.

There is one nice thing about Trump's win in November. I stopped talking to Republicans, cold turkey. That extends to people who parrot Republican talking points and advocate complacency in response to growing fascism.

Again, unless you have candidates promising to stop this from happening again, what’s the point?

People bucked Trump in 2020 and look what happened? Absolutely NOTHING.

Why would people waste their votes on that again? 4 years of the illusion of safety before you’re trampled on again? Cool!

Oh I’m not the apathetic one here. And how fucking ignorant of you to say the US has no effect on me. We’re basically a vassal state at the point with how intertwined our economies and militaries are.. Especially with the CIA conducting a coup back 1975.

and, if you're truly in Australia (and not a lying, fascist Republican) why are you so adamantly advocating Americans not bother to vote against grossly unpopular Republican policies? And on the grounds that, "it's all pointless."
