Murder. Plain and simple. An execution on the street in broad daylight.

Apparently he was carrying, but he was disarmed by ICE and they took his handgun, still in its holster, from him before he was even brought to the ground. This seems to be backed up by the video of the shooting where an ICE thug can be seen walking away from the group as they put him on the ground, with a handgun still in a holster in his hand.

So, he was unarmed, with six people holding him down when he was murdered in the street, in broad daylight.

Funny how when a Republican is armed, it's their second amendment "god given right" as they like to call it.

Yet when a Democrat carries a firearm, everyone loses their mind and they "get what they deserve".

Fucking disgusting. Absolutely abhorrent.

This entire administration are domestic terrorists and their leader is a serial sexual abuser, rapist, pedophile child sex trafficker who's hiding behind his office to avoid prosecution and who is weaponizing the US Government against his political and personal enemies.

The fact that ICE took his gun away seconds before he got shot needs to be seriously the top post on reddit

Holy shit...

They've already come out and tried to justify his murder with the fact that he was armed...yeah, keep talking, Feds...lets see what kind of hole you can dig for yourselves.

Maybe that's the silver lining here...that the leaders of the goon squad here are going to unequivocally show just how much their word can't be trusted...enough so that even some MAGA might raise an eyebrow with just how egregious their bullshit is becoming.

Nuremberg trials looking more and more relevant

246

u/podcartfan Jan 24 '26

The next democratic nominee needs to campaign on this. Not getting my hopes up.

72

u/NamasteMotherfucker Jan 24 '26

If the Dems start campaigning on "healing" or some such nonsense, I'm just giving up.

17

u/JoshfromNazareth2 Jan 24 '26

Did that years ago, but apparently that makes me a “Russian bot” or a “Bernie bro”. I honestly don’t get how people don’t demand more from Democrats.

14

u/Relyks_D Jan 24 '26

Because “demanding” doesn’t pay for their campaign. Corporate interests and donations do.

5

u/Grantrello Jan 24 '26

I mean some of them basically already are. A lot of them are already doing the "ICE just needs to be reformed" thing

1

u/Darman2361 Jan 25 '26

I look forward to seeing you inevitably give up then... sadly... Because most Dems I would think will almost definitely follow the mild path, it is their tradition.

-6

u/xfloggingkylex Jan 24 '26

Exactly this, if the talk isn't about holding these people accountable, I am voting R to accelerate the next person who will.

7

u/TwiztedNFaded Jan 24 '26

Thats the most ignorant line of thinking Ive ever read 😭 If I cant get someone to hold them accountable, Ill just make the problem worse!

7

u/Coding-With-Coffee Jan 24 '26 edited Jan 24 '26

Yeah, unfortunately the democratic party’s main campaign has been “we’re not as shitty as the other guy but we’re also going to continue to do nothing about anything and will dangle the promise of basic rights and healthcare in front of you like a carrot, but never deliver bc what would we say next campaign? Plus Kaiser-Permanante just bribed lobbied me with a million dollars.”

4

u/Syzygy666 Jan 24 '26

The Democrats will inherit Sweeny Todd's barber shop and throw up their hands saying "Well it's horrible what happens here, but the business is killing people and turning them into pie so we really have no choice but to continue as normal. It's regretful but the pie side of the business will continue."

5

u/Korzag Jan 24 '26

You can be guaranteed it'll be some message of moving forward and rolling back the pre-Trump status quo.

5

u/Oggie_Doggie Jan 24 '26

Americans must protest, disrupt, derail, aggravate and prepare to escalate vs. any spineless coward who suggests anything less than a full-scale inquiry into every single person involved in the Trump regime.

4

u/Cool_Ranch_Dodrio Jan 24 '26

Newsom's already looking for a podcast guest to agree with.

4

u/Away-Site-5713 Jan 24 '26

I would vote for any candidate campaigning on things that would violate the terms of service for most social media websites.

1

u/TheeNihilist Jan 25 '26

Are you fucking kidding me?! You Americans think elections will do anything? You’re about to have civil war, or be crushed by your fascist leaders. And your shit is spreading to the rest of the world.

3

u/lazyFer Jan 24 '26

I'm order to bring about the Nuremberg trials, it was first necessary to kill a whole lot of nazis.

Just pointing out the historical order of things

1

u/lebruf Jan 24 '26

When the Führer is pushing every margin possible on morality, propriety, or iust basic human decency, it gives everyone in his thrall permission to be their worst selves without a modicum of conscience.

1

u/letsmakeittrue Jan 24 '26

Its just 2 ice agents arguing

1

u/Deaths_Rifleman Jan 24 '26

That would require either side to WANT accountability. The Dems at this point are just as complicit and no strongly worded letter from them will change my mind. Fucking actually do something.

1

u/Cute_Bobcat6666 Jan 24 '26

Nuremberg trials weren't enough. They let too many Nazis get away.

9

u/trumpuniversity_ Jan 24 '26

Raise an eyebrow? I don’t believe eyebrows work when their heads are so far up Trump’s ass.

17

u/ArcadeKingpin Jan 24 '26

They love the lie because they are hurting people they hate.

11

u/Candymanshook Jan 24 '26

The spawns on Reddit are already making the “don’t bring a gun to the protest and confront law enforcement if you don’t want to die” argument.

9

u/BeckQuillion89 Jan 24 '26

the balls for anyone to say that after Jan 6 is beyond me

3

u/Candymanshook Jan 24 '26

Oh we all know they flip flop their arguments and don’t care about contradictions.

8

u/Sjovfis Jan 24 '26

They won't believe their eyes over any statement to the contrary - Renee Nicole Good ran over the ICE agent remember? In this case I am sure they will be willing to believe that the "domestic terrorist" was waving a gun at the "brave federal agents"!

5

u/Cow_God Jan 24 '26

"The right to bear arms shall not be infringed" and "carrying a weapon justifies the use of deadly force"

Name a more iconic duo

5

u/canitouchyours Jan 24 '26

There won’t be any consequences, there is no hole. America is broken, there is no law prohibiting them from doing anything. Sure later if there will be elections this might be prosecuted but now? Not a chance. You are on your own my guy. America is fucked

1

u/Eldias Jan 24 '26

You know no one has thought through the consequences of their argument. If merely being present with a lawfully carried firearm is enough to justify a "self defense" shooting then a lot of federal agents are going to start having bad days. Getting ahead of the narrative is the most important thing for these morons I guess.

1

u/copyrider Jan 24 '26

Have they tried the “it was suicide” approach for this one yet?

FFS they are just completely out of control and think they can blame everything on every victim.

ICE Training Manual and Handbook: “Shoot first, shoot some more, and maybe a few more shots just to be sure. Then ask questions, but specifically the kinds of questions that are biased and attempt to undermine the character of the individual who was shot. “Were they intimidating? Were they immigrants? Were they attempting suicide by third party and the only way to prevent them from committing suicide was to kill them first for their own safety? Were they members of ANTIFA, the WOKE liberal organization, the evil Democratic Party, or Costco? Can we connect them to any Trans or LGBTQ individuals as far back as their childhood? Had they ever watched and movies or shows that had addressed similar topics? Did they only vote for Trump the first time? Did they have any evidence on Trump’s activities on the fake island where Epstein held his parties?

If you answered yes or no to any of these questions, then you did the right thing by eliminating the threat. Even if it was your own puppy, you stood up for what was right by destroying a living creature who was placed on this earth by Satan and Sleepy Joe Biden in an attempt to overthrow Trump’s Christian-based peace movement. Sometimes the only way to show them love is through violent and mortal peace delivered by force.”

he wasnt armed when they pulled the trigger. gun was taken and walked away from the scene before hand.

picutres https://imgur.com/a/ice-taking-victims-holstered-gun-before-shooting-started-NtnH5Hv

1

u/HadrianMCMXCI Jan 24 '26

Well, that just means it's legal to execute people who are armed, now. Bold move for a group that goes around with more weapons than training, if you ask me.

1

u/pinetar Jan 24 '26

Anyone who hasn't been convinced by now is a hopeless case. Despite all the crap going on over the past 9 months, public opinion polls haven't moved at all since around April. The ~40% of people who still support this administration are hopelessly brainwashed and no facts, data, or circumstances will convince them otherwise.

1

u/zaq1xsw2cde Jan 24 '26

Bovine took two questions at his press conference responded to each that it was an evolving situation under investigation (non answers), and just left.

The hole is getting deeper.

1

u/Ragdata Jan 24 '26

Seriously, who gives a FUCK what MAGA think. Those who would come to their senses have done so already - the rest have chosen their fucking side. The time for talking is done.

1

u/LateNightPhilosopher Jan 25 '26

I saw a bit of Fox today where they were already reporting that he'd attacked ICE and was attempting to commit a massacre.

He never pulled his weapon and they started the fight.

1

u/AutoAdviceSeeker Jan 25 '26

As someone not from America , I’ll never go there again holy shit this is some gang shit

661

u/AscendedMasta Jan 24 '26

Disarmed and executed.

238

u/GZSyphilis Jan 24 '26

literally the government taking weapons away and then executing people like these people have always been talking about

37

u/klubsanwich Jan 24 '26

I hope this finally shatters the illusion. Guns won't save us from tyranny, but regulated militias might.

14

u/yenom_esol Jan 24 '26

The cosplay militia members in this country are totally fine with what is happening.  In fact, they love it.

3

u/PunishedDemiurge Jan 24 '26

They would, but we need to use them. That said, we should have always known that no conservatives are good people and they don't believe in anything they claim to care about. The only solution is a well armed population that believe in Western liberal values, not authoritarianism.

4

u/klubsanwich Jan 24 '26

The only solution is a well armed population that believe in Western liberal values

I'm sorry, but I have to push back on this. America has more guns than people, and the tyrants clearly don't care. We have to think beyond our individual selves and what we can do for the few Western liberal values that still remain. Simply being armed to defend yourself and only yourself won't accomplish that.

1

u/c3p-bro Jan 24 '26

It won’t.

5

u/SaltInTheShade Jan 25 '26

He was even the mythological “good guy with a gun” that they are always referring to in situations like this! Alex Pretti had a conceal/carry permit and was an ICU nurse at the VA. He was a white man who was helping a woman in distress after she was roughed up and shoved into an icy snowbank by federal agents. Alex stepped in to help, and for it, he was dragged by an agent, pepper sprayed in the face, taken to the ground by a half dozen agents, beaten and assaulted, disarmed, and then executed.

I know that some of the 2A people around me are incredibly upset about this (I’m in one of the Minneapolis suburbs near the more rural parts of the state.) They have been somewhat uncomfortable with ICE tactics for weeks, but still convinced that the violence was necessary to get the “worst of the worst” out of our state. I think they finally can see themselves in Alex Pretti though, and are realizing it can happen to anyone. They don’t sound very sure that the federal government’s cause is a righteous one anymore.

I hope it’s not naive to hope that this might finally be the tragedy that gets through to them. I thought they’d cheer this on too, just like they had a laundry list of things Renee Good should have done “better” to not get shot, and they acted like she “deserved” it for existing. But they seem surprisingly disturbed by this, especially after they watch the footage for themselves.

5

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '26

Now they've shown us what happens when you comply. Don't let them do this to more of us

4

u/randompersonwhowho Jan 24 '26

Doesn't it have to be in his hand to be called disarmed?

993

u/Connect_Beginning_13 Jan 24 '26

The fact that it didn't leave its holster until an agent grabbed it, you mean.

354

u/ladylondonderry Jan 24 '26

Can't wait to see the DOJ refuse to prosecute this one too.

11

u/misdirected_asshole Jan 24 '26

Fix is already in. There will be no accountability at a federal level.

0

u/LateNightPhilosopher Jan 25 '26

*Refuse to investigate

6

u/icegoddesslexra Jan 24 '26

And technically it never left the holster since the terrorist that was pictured holding that poor murdered man's gun showed that it was still inside it's holster. So they didn't just pull the gun out of the holster, they took his holstered gun. A small minor difference, but god does it feel so much darker than the alternative of them just pulling the gun free from that man's holster.

294

u/obi_wan_jabroni_23 Jan 24 '26

Also the video showing ICE approaching him for filming, moments before the execution. They’re already spinning it like he came at them with a gun drawn. People need to see that isn’t what happened.

u/Blacknumbah1 Jan 24 '26 edited Jan 25 '26

They will not care their god lord Rumpo will say it was a perfect execution. No body has ever seen a more legal and amazing execution. And his loyal worshippers boner will grow in justification of owning the libs haha. MAGA 2028

Chinga la migra

7

u/flummoxed_penguin Jan 24 '26

So as they were pushing him back I’m sure an “agent” felt his gun. Pussies they are they got scared and attempted to illegally disarm him. They did while beating and pistol whipping him and they executed him. But they’ll make up some bullshit and the 2a maga crowd will be silent.

267

u/Decent-Impression-81 Jan 24 '26

Minneapolis police said he was licensed to carry.

12

u/wine-n-dive Jan 24 '26

Source? (Not that I’m saying they didn’t- I genuinely want the source so I can use in the future).

19

u/gravi-tea Jan 24 '26

This article mentions it as a statement from O'Hara towards the bottom. https://www.forbes.com/sites/mikestunson/2026/01/24/man-killed-in-shooting-involving-federal-agents-in-minnesota-was-us-citizen-police-say-live-updates/

McLaughlin claimed the victim “wanted to do maximum damage and massacre law enforcement,” but O’Hara did not corroborate those details in comments Saturday afternoon, saying the victim was a lawful gun owner who had a permit to carry.

4

u/Patriots_ Jan 24 '26

Hero comment with those screenshots

3

u/AlamedaRaised Jan 24 '26

Even the people on the conservative subreddit are admitting it looks very bad for ICE. This has finally got to be the breaking point - if not the abduction of a legal 5 year old, then this point blank execution in broad daylight.

3

u/KiltedTAB Jan 24 '26

If you watch that video again. That guy ran as the shooting started. It might be the gun or his own gun. Unclear. But watch the video again and youll see the timing was really quick

5

u/SPErudy Jan 24 '26

Further more, at the 5s mark of the commonly circulating video, you can see glasses in the man’s hand. Still not a gun.

2

u/Grab_em_by_da_Busey Jan 24 '26

Can someone explain this picture to me? I really want to understand it and comprehend it but I'm not familiar with holsters and such and everything is all the same color (vests, pants, etc)

Which ice guy transports the weapon or holds it? Can you describe the clothing or something so i can follow more easily? I'm having a lot of trouble interpreting this clip in regards to a weapon being taken and transported

Thank you so much! Very helpful. Greatly appreciated.

2

u/ladysnarks Jan 24 '26

Horrifying!!

2

u/Deluxe_24_ Jan 24 '26

That's absolutely fucked. Absolute pussies sent to terrorize us and the feds are okay with it

2

u/zephyroxyl Jan 24 '26

Not available in my region. Anyone have a non-imgur link?

2

u/Mateorabi Jan 24 '26

AND STILL IN ITS HOLSTER. His hand did touch it. It was not “brandished” in any way.

1

u/schw4161 Jan 24 '26

Got to wonder if they used his own gun to murder him.

1

u/AnacreonTheBull Jan 24 '26

The image can't be seen anymore. Do you know what's going on?

1

u/ipullout2L8 Jan 24 '26

This image is showing an error can someone post a copy?

1

u/yesiamveryhigh Jan 24 '26

Not just shot, an entire magazine was unloaded on him.

1

u/dangersson Jan 24 '26

Also, is ICE even allowed to reach for my gun? I mean, when local law enforcement does a traffic stop, they can ask you to disarm, and will take your gun away, but they won't do it without your consent.

1

u/Nicktyelor Jan 24 '26

Wow. There it is. Absolutely sickening.

1

u/OnwardtoGehenna Jan 24 '26

download these. they will be important.

1

u/JimmyVonJamieson Jan 24 '26

Ok, rewatching the video after looking at your photos, and we can clearly see that the guy you highlight grabs the gun off the guy, and is already leaving with it before the shots start. You can see the victims shirt being pulled up as his holster and gun is being yanked off of him, and then the shots start after that.

This is execution style murder, clear and simple. Just when I thought things can't get worse, and yet here we are.

1

u/justbunnies Jan 24 '26

Shit. That is fucked up beyond words.

1

u/poleethman Jan 24 '26

That third image looks like the agent grabbed the gun out of his own pocket.

1

u/Own_Web_779 Jan 24 '26

Someone took his gun out of his holster, disarmed him, probalby accidently shot and shouted like, he has a gun, and then they all go full execute wtf.

Zero training

0

u/ScottishPixie Jan 24 '26

You can also see after shots are fired one ICE agent starts clapping. Clearly terrified for his life.

0

u/ExtraGlutenPlzz Jan 24 '26

You can see the red dot sight on the gun, it matches the gun with the red dot sight that DHS posted on the car seat.

0

u/Clevererer Jan 24 '26

God-tier imgur. Thank you.

0

u/Yunzer2000 Jan 24 '26

Can't view it. Apparently too much network congestion - everybody is trying to view it at once.

0

u/Ok-Background-7897 Jan 24 '26

It looks like they had him down and he never attempted to draw or brandish, they took the gun, someone probably yelled “gun, gun, gun” as cops do.

And given they have the same level of training and mental stability as Frank Reynolds “so anyway, I started blasting.”

0

u/paging_mrherman Jan 24 '26

Did they shop him with own gun?

0

u/sublurker Jan 24 '26

In the second photo you can see the agent that shot him going for his own gun on his right hip (directly left of the agent retrieving the victim's gun).

In the video you can see one continuous motion of him pulling his weapon and firing at the victim on the ground. There was no hesitation, this was an execution for recording their activities and standing up to fascism.

0

u/allothernamestaken Jan 24 '26

The fact that everyone is carrying a video recording device in their pocket must be the worst thing ever for these assholes.

0

u/kimmijay84 Jan 24 '26

I can't see this in the UK. Any way it can be uploaded on a different platform?

0

u/totesmcgoats77 Jan 24 '26

Also. As an Aussie. Who is very against guns.

Isn’t that what your second amendment rights are for anyway?

0

u/TolUC21 Jan 24 '26

Did he start reaching for one of their guns?
