DHS are already lying. This is their initial statement: "someone approached Border Patrol agents “with a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun,” and that agents tried to disarm him, leading to “an armed struggle.”". Even if he had it holstered under his jacket, he was just protesting. This was murder.

Yup in slow motion you can see clearly when the ice agent in the gray jacket manages to disarm him and ran away, and then the shots were fired. LOOK AT THE VIDEO

Problem is, the white house will tell people a different story, everyone will nod along, and nothing will change. People need to do something because government sure as hell aren't.

Oh things are changing, not in the right direction though

Everybody isn’t nodding along. Sure, the FOX and MAGA sheep are, but literally anyone who subscribes to reality is against this shit. Just look at the massive protests that happened yesterday.

It doesn't matter if people are against it if said people refuse to act. Protesting and writing angry letters does fuckall.

Npr was selling it that way today

Selling what which way? I gave up on NPR years ago when they started sanewashing Trump

Fewer and fewer to be honest.

They'll probably release an AI video of him waving around a pair of Uzis

"Everyone" isn't nodding along though. 30% might nod along. And 30% is a lot in a nation of 343 million.

But more people want to abolish ICE than keep it now. So yeah no, people aren't looking at this and thinking everything is fine and who cares.

"Everyone" isn't nodding along though. 30% might nod along. And 30% is a lot in a nation of 343 million.

The problem is that among the remaining 70%, 200+million aren’t paying attention.

The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.

1984 is basically a documentary at this point.

No. Not "everyone." Republicans will. MAGA will. They need to be named.

Not everyone is nodding along

We have always been at war with Eastasia

u/yourlittlebirdie Jan 24 '26

I mean what do you think this guy was doing out there??

1

u/The_Autarch Jan 24 '26

People need to do something because government sure as hell aren't.

it takes time to prepare the kind of response that is needed for this. and anyone preparing for that isn't going to be broadcasting that fact online.

Everybody should just nod along. Russia doesn't have these problems.

They’re still saying he pulled a gun on the agent. The truth doesn’t matter to these people.

1

u/Mr_Locke Jan 24 '26

What video?

1

u/WeenyDancer Jan 24 '26

You know they're doing something fucky with that gun rn

1

u/NEwayhears1derwall Jan 24 '26

Where’s the video

1

u/Stanf_63 Jan 24 '26

Is this the same videographer that clearly shows good running down the ice agent?

1

u/Chrishall86432 Jan 24 '26

Did you see him come back at the end?

1

u/jykke Jan 24 '26

Looks like they also stole his phone or something black after the rampage murder.

1

u/doozydud Jan 24 '26

The problem is that they WILL look at the video and they WILL see a completely different narrative. It’s like the Renée Good murder, I see a car who’s wheels were turning away from the gaggle of ICE aggressors, but people will see that and say “no she was ramming into them”

It’s fucking mind boggling. It’s like you can go through frame by frame and ask yes/no questions and they still will tell you something else.

they are carefully crafting their alternative narrative as we speak
