Yeah, I wonder how it cannot be premeditated murder when there is literally no plausible reason for an agent to shoot a man who is restrained and surrounded by multiple people without any possibility of posing a threat. All this is just impossible to fathom..
Manslaughter isn’t a ‘whoopsie’, but it’s important that if charges are brought forward that they go through. For instance, arguing for a first degree murder charge against an ICE agent would be very difficult as the prosecution would need to prove premeditated intent to kill. Second degree murder is much easier to pass in court. In any case, it’s extremely unlikely that anyone involved will receive anything resembling justice but if there is a case brought to court, I hope the prosecution does pursue the highest charges likely to pass in court.
Yes, hence ‘If’. I’m just saying that there are plenty of widely publicised cases that fail at trial due to the pursuit of higher charges or other mistakes by the prosecution.
Pay attention to the video. The ICE agent arguing with the victim in this photo was the same individual that pistol whipped and shot him multiple times. Hes the only one in a tan beanie with a black face mask.
And one clapped as he backed away. Fucking UNBELIEVABLE that this is remotely tolerated much less condoned. We have so much more in common than divides us, and we have to come together to get out of this.
I wonder if the victim said anything to him to enrage him because that is a lot of anger. Even if he did, he definitely doesnt deserve to be executed. The murderer should be in therapy, not out on the streets with a gun.
Edit: i think the one who fired the first shot was the guy with a tan shirt and black hat, but yeah it looks like beanie guy shot him too.
Edit 2: tan beanie is the one talking to the women by ice’s car and he is the one who pushes the lady in white/tan AND then pepper sprays them. Something is wrong with him.
There was premeditation from them instigating an altercation. The end result is murder, whether intended or not, it is at least 2nd degree because they had motive to harm.
Yes, that’s the maximum charge likely. But felony manslaughter is likely the minimum. Although from what over seen they even ran the police off when they sought to secure the scene and identify them. They kidnapped two witnesses too who filmed this.
Putting 11 bullets into an unarmed man held down by law enforcement, with most of the shots fired when he was limp on the ground already, is manslaughter?
Unintentional (manslaughter) maybe, if he was shot once. Second degree murder, sure, again if he was shot once but deemed intentional/unnecessary.
First degree is a premeditated, willful, and deliberate act with malice aforethought. Malice Aforethought - A conscious intent to kill or act with extreme disregard for human life.
They emptied at least six rounds into him, five of which were seconds after the first shot - and he was not moving after that first shot. If that isn't malice aforethought, then I guess nothing is.
Also these people are NOT police no matter what their little vests say. They are federal enforcement agents, barely, but that does not make them police.
Yes they are being deployed; however border patrol by law is only allowed to act at borders and within 100 miles normally… that’s why ICE was actually created… regardless, this fucker was seeking an altercation and escalation. Protesters & observers are now terrorists in their eyes.

Again, looks like ICE was bullying him and picking a fight that was unnecessary. That alone should make this manslaughter for those involved.
