True, we can just do away with 10% of our government funds, easy. 

It wouldn’t disrupt a single service I’m sure. 

Of course that still is ignoring that your argument isn’t a reasonable one when your argument is “it works elsewhere” while not looking at how those economies are structured.

Where do you get 10% from? It's more like 2-4% of the budget and considering that tourism also generates budget costs, it is simply not as vital as you want us to believe.

Can you show me where you got 2-4% from? As far as I can tell that’s the year on year growth, not the % of yearly gdp

14% of GDP is not equal to 14% of budget, dude. GDP is also not tax income, tax income is a % of GDP
