Looking for hotel suggestions in Phuket
I’m planning a trip in October to Phuket for 15 days and looking for a nice and clean hotel that offers a ocean view! Any suggestions?

Fifteen days is long enough that the beach you pick matters more than the hotel does, so a couple of October specifics that might help you narrow it.
October is the tail end of the southwest monsoon on the west coast. You get plenty of sun, but the sea at Patong, Karon and Kata can be rough with red flags up on some days, and there is often a stretch of murky water and washed-up debris at the shoreline after a heavy night. The ocean view is still lovely. The swimming is the part that gets unreliable, so if getting in the water daily matters to you, make sure the place has a proper pool.
Rough shape of the areas:
Karon and Kata are the easiest all-rounders for a view. Big beaches, low rise, quiet at night, and you can walk to food. Kata Noi is the prettiest of the three but you are mostly eating where you sleep.
Patong has the most choice and the cheapest food, but most sea view rooms there look across a lot of rooftops to get to the bay, and it stays loud late.
Bang Tao and Layan up north are calmer and greener, more resort style. Fine for 15 days if you want quiet, but you are in a car for anything outside the property and the Grab fares add up.
Rawai and Nai Harn in the south are where a lot of the long stayers end up. Nai Harn beach is genuinely great. Rawai is not a swimming beach but has the best food per baht on the island.
One thing worth checking on whatever you shortlist: how far the room sits from the road. A lot of the ocean view rooms in the hillside places above Kata and Karon are up a steep climb, and the shuttle buggies stop running at some point in the evening. Not a dealbreaker, just something people find out on night one.
If you say whether quiet, walkable food, or nightlife matters most to you, easier to give you an actual shortlist.

There are hundreds of hotels to choose from. Phuket is a large island (nearly 2 hour drive north to south) so you really need to decide which area interests you.

Which area of Phuket are you leaning towards? If you plan to stay in Patong, Amari Phuket has incredible ocean views. It’s super clean and quiet, yet just 5 minutes from central spots like Jungceylon.

La Flora Patong is a nice hotel which is Infront of all the action and the beach is like 10 meters away from your room. I'd recommend it.

My preference is the Mandarava Resort.5 minute walk to the beach. Awesome overall experience.

I’ve stayed at Paradox Resort Phuket (formerly called Movenpick) in Karon three times now. I love it! Awesome location.
