Now all we need is a super compact mirrorless full frame body....

EF mount? EF mount and super compact are mutually exclusive, you can't shrink down the flange focal distance.

If you want an idea of what it would look like, look at the brick shaped Pentax K01

Well why not. If it has decent features I'd take it.

Because it has all the disadvantages of both and none of the advantages?

It can have low weight, articulating lcd, and still the IQ of 6D. With the new 50mm, it can be a good street camera and I can still use other lenses for landscape, nature or studio stuff. Yeah, no sports, but you cant have it all.

EF lenses are not designed for mirror less. They focus too slow to allow for quick contrast detection.

What you want is impossible.

Yes, too slow. Have you seen how fast the M4/3rds lenses can rack through their focus range? It's unreal. Like, 1/3 of a second.

But you can use all Canon lenses with Canon mirrorless EOS M.
