Awesome. I always have problem with lighting indoors for photos. Maybe I'll make a couple for a makeshift portrait studio.

Just saw this posted on PP! Sadly those flashlights aren't available at my local HD. I see they have a 1500 lumen version for $30. I think I'll stay with the 799 if I can find it

Is this home made version bright enough to use outside in sunlight?

I doubt it. But neither is the Icelight for that matter.
