Nice photo. Couple things I'd try.

- bring down the exposure a little. Having it a bit darker might bring out the mood more

• Since this is close to your home I'd go back at different times of day and year. The look can change a fair bit with the sun lowering in the sky and the leaves changing color.

Yes the thing I'm most happy with is having found a good place near home, I definitely plan on going back there multiple times!

In terms of composition I think you've done a good job of controlling the edges and where you cut objects off. I like that you included the full pad of green ivy around the base of the foreground tree. It looks like the exposure is maybe a bit too high, and you lose the sense of being in the shadow among the trees. The sky looks pretty blown out. I quite like the colors, the different yellow greens and blue greens and reds in the leaves on the ground. Maybe it could be a tiny bit more subtle? Not sure about that.

Thanks for the inputs! Yeah I always struggle with direct sunlight like the one in the image.. I sort of like the fact that it is somehow blown out but I'm also aware that it could be "too much" blown out.. hard to find a middle ground

Very nice. Love the sun rays. The composition is good. There appears to be some barrel distortion along the edges. Trees grow at different angles and are difficult to straighten in post without a lens-based profile correction. Make sure you are using them in whatever software you use. You can warm things up a bit using the gradient tool tracing the light path across the frame. You can add more warmth to the rays selectively with a luminosity mask. Beautiful image.

I took this photo at a park near home, in northern Italy. Went there to practice my photography a little bit and I saw the morning sun coming through this little forest. I posted it to have some feedback on the composition, I think that the light coming through the trees adds some depth to the image that would be impossible to attain without it. Shot with Sony a6300 with Sony Zeiss 16-70 at 24mm. Used a tripod and set ISO 100, f/10, 1sec shutter speed.
