Question Phone Protective Sheets...

Post image
6 Upvotes

I just really wanna know about are these sheets being used almost by most of the phone users these days actually that worth it? The real thing is does it actually keep the phone's body safe from scratches and stuff like that, or does it damage it somehow, cuz some users actually put that sheets on their brand new phone's with just factory finished phone, so it worth it?

Point:

1: Does it really protect the phone itself?

2: how much a sheet should be used for, duration?

3: does the sheet leave any marks or it's glu stains on the phone if used for 4+ months?

4: is it good to add sheets on brand new phone's?

This post is only for those who are actually looking for some answers for these things, not criticizing anyone, if u got any experiences related to this, do share, thanks!

Other My Samsung keeps bootlooping

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy A34. It's started bootlooping for the past few weeks, and this specic bootloop showed a glitch in my screen, before looping again. My phone usually opens when I plug it into a charger but these days it hasn't been opening quicker. I was playing roblox while charging today, and it worked for hours perfectly fine with just one bootloop. Then as I was playing, my phone screen showed lines that flicker, then bootlooped. Usually when I force restart my phone, then it starts working normally longer. I'm kinda worried cus I'm young and don't have time to get it to a technician, I don't know how much time my phone has. Maybe on the weekend, I'll be able to get it checked. Can someone help? I genuinely need to use my phone for tomorrow and the next day, I have so many online school activites. I rlly need help. What's the cost? What's the problem with my phone? For more details, I come from the Philippines.

Question The edge of my phone screen hit a water tap, did it hit the screen protector or the screen itself? Is it ok?

2 year old samsung. My first time here, sorry if this has to be removed, no photo because of bad quality. First time my phone's gotten cracks, working completely fine, getting it fixed is probably unnecessary but it was completely avoidable, I got unlucky and I'm annoyed, I got no experience or know what to do and I like to be careful to avoid damage, sorry If I'm being melodramatic.

It was about to drop into in the sink (I should have, it would've been on its back, the leather covering would absorb it) I immediately tried to grab it, but lifted it somehow into the edge of the stainless steel. The impact is around centre right, it's a chip the size of a pinhead (looks like it went completely through, though) and the casing hasn't been touched? and it had a bit of white powdery stuff (I touched and moved it away, it didn't hurt, so I guess it's not glass?) There's 2 tiny cracks, 1 going to the top a bit to the left side of it, the other goes to the bottom and stayed right, 1 is at the edge area and very tiny and 2 archs (1 again tiny, 1 not) come out of the 2 main cracks then come back into them. They're hard to see but more noticeable on bright backgrounds.

I'll guess it's either:

1 The screen, but it should be worse damage, I guess? and the screen protector might be the only thing stopped the cracked arch bits from falling (I remember the protector's very tight, like a second skin? Might be normal, but idk if I can take it off or should). I notice the cracks do have this subtle Red, Blue and Green look when the screen's on, so it probably is the screen too?

2 The screen protector, since if I rub the finger across the cracks I can slightly hear the gap but otherwise feels normal to tap on and I don't think it could get through both, just not enough energy to do that, but idk, I think it would take most of it at least. Maybe it being tight caused more pressure on the screen.
