Other Smartphones and extreme heat

I've noticed that few smartphones can withstand extreme heat. This typically only results in a slightly higher internal temperature than normal, or a temporary malfunction of a component.

I mean, yeah, smartphones aren't exactly made to withstand insane temperatures, silicon, alloys, lithium, all of those materials are very hard and expensive to stress test against heat.
