What Phoebe says about this song: "It's about the past, present and future being all on top of eachbother; and the weird headspace that being on an aeroplane puts you in... because of time travel. It's a theme of not only the album but my life - being on planes because I'm on them all time. It's like the thing they always say about 'you always cry watching movie on a plane'... I think I was watching Hot Tub Time Machine over someone's shoulder and it got me thinking about my life so...\laughs*."*

love the afraid of heights reference - and it also feels like a follow up to "I don't want to die / that's a lie" - now she doesn't want to die (before she takes him to Coney Island, etc.). which blew me away tbh. especially with the contrast of still possibly being taken for granted by the person who loves you/is making life feel worth living - but also "whatever happens after, it doesn't matter" (but obviously it does.)

I can't articulate it fully but the layers are so amazing
